One civilian was reported killed and several others were wounded in alleged Russian forces or Syrian regime forces airstrikes on Maaret al-Nassan in Idlib on February 18th, 2020, according to local sources.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “Syrian- Russian alliance killed a pharmacist in Maaret al-Nassan village in Idlib, on Feb 18th, 2020. The pharmacist Ibrahim al Saedou was killed as Syrian- Russian alliance forces fired missiles on Maaret al-Nassan village, on February 18, 2020.” Radio Fresh referred to Ibrahim as being the “director of the Maarat Al-Naasan clinic” and a Facebook post by Ldlib123456 added that Ibrahim was from the town of Tafranaz.
Step Agency said that Russian airstrikes targeted with several missiles areas in southern Idlib including Maaret al-Nassan on February 18th, 2020, which led to the death of one civilian.
@syr_television reported that “others” were wounded in addition to the civilian killed but did not specify how many were wounded and @spc_fr referred to “several” civilians injured.
The majority of sources attributed the strikes to Russian forces. However, a Facebook post from Radio Fresh blamed the regime. According to a Facebook post by Ldlib123456, vacuum missiles were used in the attack.
