Israeli military allegedly fired a missile at a car wash facility located at the entrance to Al-Zawayda town, killing one and injuring four others according to multiple sources.
Several sources reported that five civilians were injured during the strike, with one in a serious condition. Four of those injured were named by two sources as 22 year old Hamada Ahmed Fattouh, 16 year old Youssef Iyad Fattouh, 20 year old Noah Harb Fattouh, and 23 year old Ghassan Kamal Abu Zayed.
Subsequent reports named the fifth victim in a serious condition as Ahmed Iyad Fattouh, son of the Chief Prosecutor Iyad Fattouh. Sources put his age at either 21, 22 or 23. Mr. Fattouh was transferred to the intensive care unit of Al-Shifa hospital where he died from his injuries two days later at approximately 9pm, according to several sources.
The Fatah Movement – Central Region – Martyr Ziyad Abu Ein area Facebook page posted that “Fatah” Al-Wusta region mourns the heroic martyr, son of the Fatah movement / Ahmed Iyah Fattouh, who rose today as a martyr after being targeted by the brutal enemy.”
Two sources claimed that the airstrike occurred at approximately 10.40pm.
