In a news roundup, Shaam News said two non-combatants died in a raid by Russian warplanes, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that “a person was killed when warplanes believed to be Russian bombed areas in the town of Mayer in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The Violations Documentation Center named one victim as Ahmad Mohammad Qasem. However the pro-regime Aleppo Today described him as a combatant: “The killing today of a field officers in the Free Syrian Army Ahmed Mohammed Qasim, nicknamed ‘Haji Meyer’ along with a number of militants, after targeting by Russian fighter jets of their headquarters in Mayer.” All 4 Syria also said he was a military commander.

Eight to nine civilians including one to two women and two children were killed in alleged Russian airstrikes on Dayr al Asafeer, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and the White Helmets.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that eight non-combatants including one woman and two children were killed and others injured when “warplanes believed to be Russian bombed areas on the outskirts of the town of Deir al-Asafir in the Eastern Ghouta.” They added that one female victim was still be identified, and that the attack had left some people in a critical condition, meaning that the death toll was likely to rise.

According to the White Helmets, there were two raids by Russian warplanes using vacuum missiles, leading to “great destruction of buildings.” They put the death toll at nine, including one woman and two children. VDC instead blamed unspecified aircraft.

Nine victims were listed by VDC and the White Helmets including one unknown woman.

According to Al Jisr, “Russian airforce aggression also targeted a nursery in the Zibdiyah quarter of Aleppo which led to the deaths of 3 children.” Aleppo White Helmets said 20 children were also injured.
