One civilian male died 24 hours after sustaining a shrapnel injury in Raqqa, according to local media.
@AbuMuaazalraqqa reported that the victim died “as a result of being hit by shrapnel from a mortar shell fired by a SDF militia that targeted his home”. However air and artillery strikes were also reported in the vicinity that day.
On July 23rd, @shareefa.lab tweeted: “My uncle Khalil Al Hilal has passed away, may his soul rest in peace.”

For July 22nd-23rd: “ Near Raqqah, nine strikes engaged seven ISIS tactical units, destroyed eight fighting positions and a mortar system, and damaged two supply routes.“It additionally reported that “On July 22, near Raqqah, Syria, 12 strikes engaged 10 ISIS tactical units and destroyed three fighting positions, a storage facility, and a tunnel.”
