Airwars assessment
A man named as Mohammad Fayez Bakour from Dabaa, Qusair in Homs was reported killed in a Coalition or US strike – though his status remains unclear.
The VDC described Bakour as a civilian, and said he died in a Coalition strike. We Are Qusair Martyrs also noted “we announce the martyrdom of Mohammad Fayyez Al Bakkour [Abu Abd al Rahman] from al Qusair – martyred today 11/2/2017 may God receive him.”
However a note posted on his martyr’s page reads “we consider him martyred on 20/1/2017 [January 20th] in a raid by the crusader coalition on a Fatah al Sham Front camp.” His status is therefore unclear.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
