Shortly before 1:52pm on Sunday, October 29th 2023, two civilians were killed and at least two civilians were injured in an alleged Israeli strike on a house located behind the Al Albani Mosque west of Khan Younis in the south of Gaza Strip.
All sources, including the Palestinian Information Center, Facebook and Twitter/X posts reported that two civilians were killed. “‘Injuries”’ were reported by local sources without specifying the number.
Where sources identified the belligerents, all sources attributed the strikes to Israeli forces.
The incident occured at approximately 1:45 pm local time.
Geolocation notes
Reports of the incident mention the vicinity of the Al Albani Mosque (مسجد الألباني) in Khan Younis (خان يونس), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.345638, 34.289076. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
