On the evening of Friday, October 27, 2023, an alleged Israeli airstrike hit the Al-Amriti family home, near the Al Dawa Mosque, in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, killing between four and seven civilians, including three children, and injuring up to seven.
Shehab Agency and Al Mayadeen, among other sources, reported that the strike killed seven civilians, while Twitter user @sameh2655014316 and Facebook user Alaa Alaa reported that four civilians were killed. Twitter user @sameh2655014316 reported that four killed victims were taken to Al Aqsa Hospital after the strike. Facebook user Mayar El Khatib reported that the strike killed seven people, three of whom were children.
Facebook user Farah W. Alamreety posted the collage with the pictures of the alleged victims of the strike where two men and three children can be seen. However, the identities of the victims are not known.
Photos posted by social media users showed civilians with severe injuries. One photo depicted a young boy being treated in a hospital, while another showed a man carrying a young girl from an ambulance as she held a bandage to her head. Twitter user @Sa7atPlBreaking reported the strike caused seven injuries, while other sources, such as @khdiiga94, reported “a number” of injuries.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to Israeli forces.
The incident occured in the evening.
Geolocation notes
Reports of the incident mention the vicinity of the Al Dawa Mosque (مركز الدعوة الى الله) in the Al Nuseirat camp (مخيم النصيرات), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.451111, 34.400278. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
