Up to five civilians died and up to 12 more were wounded in an airstrike on Aleppo’s Al Qaterji neighbourhood, according to local sources. Multiple reports said that a bakery was struck. The Smart News Agency also put the death toll at four, stating that “the civil defence said they’d recovered three bodies from the rubble including women and children.”

But the Step News Agency reported that the regime may have been involved: “Russian and Syrian warplanes carried out many raids in Aleppo today [Oct 14th]. In Qaterji, a bakery was targeted and one person was killed and others wounded.”

Alaraby said that five people had died, while Nader added that many of the wounded were children.

The home of a local sheikh was bombed during a lunch party, killing as many as 20 civilians, according to local sources. Though most reports point to this being a Coalition action, one other blames the regime while a further report alleges that Russia was responsible.

Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently initially reported that at least 11 people died when unidentified warplanes struck the house of Sheikh Daham Ka’a-ishish in the village of al Ghazli. It later updated the death toll to 15 and said the strikes were carried out by “the international coalition.”

The Syrian Observatory also put the death toll at 15 and attributed the strikes to the Coalition. Several other sources cited the Coalition.

However, an account associated with the Sheikh’s tribe reported that six missiles from Russian warplanes caused the destruction.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Network reported that “government forces” shelling on Al Ghazli was to blame for the massacre. Several News agencies, including ARA News and Al Jisr cited ISIL-controlled al A’maq agency, reporting a death toll of 20 due to coalition attacks. Step News Agency reported “the international coalition aircraft had launched several air raids on Friday targeting the home of” the Sheikh, killing twenty “women and children” and “wounding scores… all of them civilians.

On October 14, Raqqa is Being Silently Slaughtered posted an initial list of 11 victims:

Between 10 and 51 civilians including an entire family died and up to 30 more were wounded in an airstrike on Aleppo’s Bustan al Qasr neighbourhood, according to source son the ground. The majority of reports blamed Russia for the incident, though the Shaam News Network said that regime warplanes also carried out strikes in Aleppo on this day.

Al Jazeera was among sources blaming Russia and put the death toll at 26 people. However, Micro Syria said that 50 had died including eight women and nine children, with dozens more wounded. The highest death count was given by Toufi11q082 who tweeted that 51 died, people who were “dreaming of a country but were slaughtered in front of the whole world”.

But the Shaam News Network noted regime strikes Aleppo on this day, meaning that the civilian harm could have been caused by regime jets. SNN said that “Assad and Russian enemy planes launched intense strikes using all sorts of weapons including bunker busting missiles, cluster bombs, phosphorous and vacuum missiles, on Aleppo and its countryside leading to the fall of buildings over residents’ heads. This resulted in 11 martyrs in the Bustan al Qasr neighbourhood”.

On Facebook, Fouad Hallak reported that “Captain Mohammad A’njarini [Abu Hassan] a taikwando teacher was killed with his wife and two daughters [Lajeen and Malak] following warplane shelling the of Bustan al Qasr neighbourhood in Aleppo this morning [Oct 13th].
