Al Manara TV noted: “Gaddafi forces on Friday continued to bomb Misurata east of Tripoli, killing one woman and her four children while a doctor at the city hospital on Thursday said 109 martyrs and 1,300 were wounded in a week in the city. ‘There is no electricity or water, and the city is starting to lack everything,’ another witness said.'”

Up to five civilians including two sisters and their mother and possibly their father died in an alleged Russian airstrike on Rab’a al Jwar village located in the northeast of Khan Sheikhoun city in Idlib, local media reported.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that a family of four was killed, including two children and their parents. Edlib Media Center claimed that three women and one child were killed instead.

In a tweet, @abuhuzaifa_ claimed that a total of five civilians were killed, including only one child.

France24 reported: “In the village of Raba al-Jwar in Idlib, an AFP correspondent saw a man preparing to flee with his son after a night raid on their home killed his wife and daughter-in-law with two of her children. Sunday’s raids targeted three hospitals, two in southern Idlib and one in the northern Hama countryside, leaving two of them out of service. The Syrian Observatory accused the Russian planes of launching the raids.”

Horrya put the death toll at four women and a girl, also blaming Russia.

For August 31st – September 1st the Coalition reported “Near Raqqah, 15 strikes engaged 11 ISIS tactical units and destroyed 10 fighting positions, three logistics nodes, two vehicles and a command and control node.” It additionally reported that “On Aug. 31, near Raqqah, Syria, 13 strikes engaged five ISIS tactical units and destroyed four fighting positions, three command and control nodes and a tunnel.”

For September 1st - 2nd the Coalition reported "Near Raqqah, 17 strikes [1 British] engaged four ISIS tactical units and destroyed 16 fighting positions, three logistics nodes, two command and control nodes, and a VBIED" It later reported "On Sept. 1, near Raqqah, Syria, 12 strikes engaged five ISIS tactical units and destroyed four command and control nodes, four logistics nodes, three fighting positions, three VBIEDs, and two heavy machine guns", and "Additionally, 10 strikes consisting of 10 engagements were conducted in Syria on Sept. 1-2 that closed within the last 24 hours. ‘Friday 1 September – Typhoons destroyed a terrorist position in Raqqa, whilst a mixed Tornado and Typhoon pair struck three targets at a large Daesh complex in western Iraq…Typhoons continued operations over Raqqa on Friday 1 September, when they used a Paveway IV to destroy a Daesh-held building from which fire was being directed at the Syrian Democratic Forces. A mixed Tornado and Typhoon pair conducted reconnaissance before joining a coalition strike on a large, dispersed terrorist site near Al Qaim in western Iraq. The RAF targets at the complex were accommodation and storage blocks, and an anti-aircraft position. All three were struck by Paveway IVs.’

Up to five civilians were killed and up to “dozens” were wounded as airstrikes hit al-Marj, eastern Ghouta, Damascus, local media reported.

Three of the victims, Saleh Mohammad Qadeesh, Mohamad Adnan Qadeesh and Nidhal Handhal al-Mehbash were reported by several sources, including Violations Documentation Center (VDC). One of the victims, Abdo Ahmed Hassoun, was only mentioned by SCDrifdimashq.

Meanwhile, the fifth victim Majed Adnan Qadish was by VDC reportedly a non-civilian while Al Shifunia News also reported his death but did not mention his status. Also, it is unclear whether he was killed in al-Marj or Shifunia. However, as of now, he will be treated as a civilian killed in al-Marj.

Smart News Agency quoted the Civil Defense who said that four civilians were killed, and that “dozens” were injured.

Reports were also unclear in terms of culpability.
VDC pointed to the Syrian regime as responsible while sources like @AlkhaleejOnline and the Syrian Network for Human Rights blamed both the Syrian regime as well as Russia.

Five civilians died following airstrikes on al Husseiniya village, local sources said. The number of victims was placed at five in a report by Deir Ezzor 24, including “several others wounded”.

Deir Free identified the young man Hani Jadoua Al-Khalif al-Hammad as one of the dead, and said that “artillery shelling by regime forces” was suspected responsible. In a second report released by Smart they placed the death toll at five again, and described the incident as having occurred in “a related context” to regime forces shelling a nearby village.

The US-led Coalition was not alleged responsible by any source, with Regime forces blamed by three of the sources and “Artillery shelling” as the mode of warfare by most sources, Deir Free also noted a “missile strike”. Deir Ezzor 24 referred to “air raids” and did not apportion blame, therefore the Coalition could not be ruled out entirely. In a delayed report issued October 7th – which most likely referred to an artillery or rocket strike – the Coalition noted that “On Oct. 5, near Dayr Az Zawr, Syria, one strike engaged a fighting position.”

Up to five civilians died and several more were injured in an airstrike on Daranj, according to local media. Most sources attributed the event to the Coalition. However, one pointed towards the Assad regime and one blamed Russia.

Deir Ezzor 24 and Step News Agency blamed the Coalition, with Step putting the civilian death toll at four with three more wounded. The Coalition later confirmed injuring two civilians in Daranj that day.

According to the Syrian Network for Human Rights, “at least four civilians from the same family were killed as International Coalition warplanes fired missiles near their car in Daranj village”. However, one source, Al Jazeera Syria, blamed regime warplanes, putting the death toll at five.

The Shaam News Network was alone in blaming Russia. It put the death toll at five.

In May 2018 the Coalition accepted responsibility for this incident, with their monthly civilian casualty report noting: “During a strike on Daesh-held building two civilians were unintentionally injured.”

The Coalition providede Airawrs with the location of this incident, accurate to within a 100 metre box.

Thursday 16 November – a Reaper bombed a group of terrorists firing on Syrian Democratic Forces in eastern Syria… With Daesh having suffered major defeats in both Iraq and Syria, Royal Air Force missions continue daily, focused on armed reconnaissance to identify remaining terrorist locations and support, as necessary, clearance operations on the ground by Iraqi troops and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The SDF have continued their operations against extremists south-east of Al Mayadin, in eastern Syria, and an RAF Reaper provided close air support to them on Thursday 16 November. The first terrorist threat that the Reaper’s crew identified was a vehicle being driven at very high speed towards the SDF positions. Fearing this to be a probable truck-bomb, the Reaper’s crew tracked the lorry, ready to engage. However, no intervention was necessary, as the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed off the road and promptly exploded; it had indeed been a truck-bomb. The Reaper subsequently spotted a group of terrorists opening fire on the SDF; a GBU-12 guided bomb quickly eliminated this threat

In the past week, France reports 26 sorties but just 1 strike, in Iraq’s Al Qaim region. Since Sept 19th 2014, it reports a total of 7445 sorties, 1417 strikes and 2202 targets destroyed. Since Sept 27th 2015, it reports 151 strikes in Syria, destroying 298 targets

OPÉRATION CHAMMAL SITUATION En zone irako-syrienne, les combats se concentrent toujours sur l’axe Abou Kamal / Al Qaim. En Irak, les forces de sécurités irakiennes demeurent également impliquées dans des actions de sécurisation des zones récemment reconquises, notamment autour d’Hawijah. Between one and five civilians died in an air or artillery strike on Bei’deen, according to local sources – though reports are conflicted as to whether Russia was responsible or the Syrian regime.

The Shaam News Network, reported on alleged Russian raids with warplanes and helicopters across Aleppo and its surrounding countryside. It said that this coincided with “violent artillery shelling“, killing four civilians in the Bei’deen neighbourhood.

Slnnews said that one civilian died, but Aawst put the death toll at five.

Many sources said that the regime was responsible. Step News reported that “regime artillery” was to blame, as did Smart.

According to Alresalahpress, “regime warplanes” carried out the attack.

But the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and Shahed_alep said that helicopters had dropped explosive barrel bombs – though they didn’t identify the culprit.

The local time of the incident is unknown.
