Airwars assessment

One civilian was allegedly injured by LNA shelling near the Khadra Hospital in Tripoli. A woman also reportedly suffered a miscarriage because of the stress caused by the bombardment.

The Libya Observer wrote: “The attacks caused several injuries among civilians, especially the ones that targeted Al-Khadra Hospital in Al-Hadba, where many medical staffers and patients were left in utter panic and intimidation.

A nurse at the hospital, who asked not to be named, said a pregnant woman aborted due to the panic and horror she was in when the shelling hit the hospital.

The media adviser of the Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi said a foreign worker was injured in the vicinity of Al-Khadra Hospital, which was targeted by Haftar’s rockets Monday afternoon.”

Tk Yahroug Kl shy also reported the miscarriage: “All patients in the green hospital went down to the lower floors as a result of the bombing, as there is a pregnant woman who was in the department aborted and her fetus died while she is now under operations.”

The Field Medicine and Support Center said that six patients had to be evacuated because of the shelling.

The Libya Observer quoted the media adviser of the Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi saying: “Three people have been injured in Haftar’s attack on Abu Salim, including one 15-year-old boy.”

Tk Yahroug Kl shy only reported shelling: “A state of fear and alienation afflicts residents of the Al-Samoud buildings in Abu Salim area, after several shells fell.”

Libya Alahrar TV said: “Hafter militias bombard residential neighborhoods in Abu Salim, causing 3 houses to collapse in Al-Harati neighborhood.

Residents of the Al-Harati neighborhood are rushing to rescue the injured, despite the panic they sustained due to the fall of shells.”

Several civilians were allegedly injured by LNA shelling on the Hadaba project area of Tripoli.

The Libya Observer said: Several civilians, including children, were injured in unprovoked firing and shelling by Haftar’s militias on the Hadhaba area, south of Tripoli, on Friday, Mayor of Abu Salim, Abdul Rahman Al-Hamidi has said.”

Libya Alaharar TV reported: “The mayor of Abu Salim Abdul Rahman Al-Hamedi reported that a number of civilians, including children, were injured as a result of Hifter militia shells falling on the homes of citizens in the Al Hadaba Al Qassi area.

Al-Hamidi added in a statement to Al-Ahrar Libya that the injured people were transferred to Al-Khadra Hospital for treatment, noting that a state of panic and panic prevailed among the citizens who seemed unable to make their decision between staying in their homes in implementation of the ban measures or leaving them due to the missiles of Haftar militias, according to him.”

Two civilians were allegedly injured by LNA shelling near the Tripoli Unversity Hospital.

The Field Medicine and Support Center wrote: “Today, Saturday 4-4-2020, the Monitoring and Follow-up Team of the Field Medicine and Support Center monitored the injury of Mr. Aseel Al-Aswad, 35, who is a member of the Ministry of Interior and Citizenship, Hala Salem, 22, with a serious head injury as a result of targeting the back gate of Tripoli University Hospital (medical). The two cases were transferred to each of Kaddour Medical Center and Al-Mukhtar Clinic.”

The Libya Observer said it was a rocket attack conducted by the LNA.

Libya Review tweeted: “Last night Turkish UAV drones targeted a number of trucks in Al-Asaabaa.

The owner of the trucks confirmed that he was transporting flour to the Western Mountain region in an attempt to avoid a bread crisis.

9 civilians, including 2 African workers were injured in the air attack.”

The GNA, which cooperates with Turkey, itself confirmed conducting strikes in the area but said the targets were military: “The Libyan Air Force targets 3 trucks loaded with ammunition, mortar shells and Grad rockets in the vicinity of Al Asabi’a area were on their way to supply the Haftar terrorist militia south of the capital”

Hona Souq Al-Khmies posted: “Our confirmed outcome for Qargarsh now:

The death of Ramadan Qurbaj.

His brother’s injury.

An Egyptian worker was injured.”

The Libya Observer tweeted: “One person killed, others wounded in a rocket attack by warlord Haftar’s armed groups on #Tripoli’s densely-populated Qarqarish district, medical sources say.”

Desert Rose later responded to a tweet mentioning the incident: “It was a gas cylinder that exploded ! Either leakage or filling up of gas cylinder! Not any darn missile Alhamdulilah..”

Wolfram Lacher said: “Deleted tweet re: reported shelling on Gargaresh as it appears it was a gas explosion. Indiscriminate shelling on Abu Slim continues.”
