Airwars assessment

At least two and up to four civilians were reported killed, including two children, and between seven and eleven were reported injured, when an alleged Russian airstrike hit the village of Yakovlivka, Kharkiv, on March 2nd 2022.

Novynarnia news reported that the head of the Merefyan community, Veniamin Sitov said after the attack that “there was an air raid at night, at approximately 11.30pm, the village of Yakovlivka was practically destroyed, the population of the village is 600 people. At night 11 people were evacuated, 11 wounded, two dead, two people are being searched for.” The head of the Merefyan community later updated news outlets to confirm that the number of dead has risen to four after two bodies which were considered missing were found in the rubble. The bodies were of a man and a woman, both civilians who had lived in the village.

The Department of Emergency Situations had a slightly different death toll, they reported to LB.ua news that “seven people were injured, 10 people were rescued from the rubble. Unfortunately three of our compatriots died.”

LB.ua news reported that the attack was recorded by rescuers at 10.57pm.

RBC.ua news reported that “at least three people were killed, two of them civilians. Eight people were injured and taken to hospital.” This number in relation to those killed has been reflected in the death toll, as it is unclear how many could have been actively involved in hostilities.

Novynarnia news reported that at least 35 houses were destroyed. RBC.ua put this number at 45 houses which had been damaged, and 21 of them were completely destroyed. Helsinki.org.ua also reported that “a school, village council, and private houses were damaged.”

One civilian, a man, was injured by alleged Ukrainian shelling of Liptsy in Kharkiv region on March 21, 2022.

According to major Russian news site RIA Novosti, quoting Moiseyev, head of the “Rus Triedinaya” NGO, Ukrainian military howitzer shell hit a hospital in Liptsky where about 40 women and children were being prepared for evacuation at 10:00 in the evening.

Presumably Ukrainian Telegram channel with a clear pro-Russian stance Perviy Kharkovskiy posted that as a result of the shelling, one of the villagers sustained a shrapnel wound to the head and that he was transported to Belgorod Oblast (in Russia) where Russian medics are “fighting for his life.” A woman told Perviy Kharkovskiy that “It hit the house, the gazebo started burning. And the dogs were outside, got out, started rescuing the dogs. And then a bomb or a grenade came again. I hid under the house, climbed out – I looked, he was lying there” (translated from Russian).

The local time of the incident is unknown.

◽️В The situation in Mariupol has returned to normal. Residents of the city have been able to move freely through the streets without hiding from the Ukrainian Nazis' shelling. Humanitarian aid is being delivered: food, water and everyday essentials. The authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic are organizing the clearing of streets from rubble and the removal of damaged Ukrainian military equipment.

◽️ All remnants of the Ukrainian Azov Nazis, together with foreign mercenaries from the USA and European countries, are securely blocked on the territory of the Azovstal plant. Our demands to release the women and children allegedly staying with them for free departure in any direction are ignored by the Nazis. The Nazis are informed on an hourly basis of the order of exit of civilians, if they are there, from the territory of Azovstal for further evacuation. This information is also communicated to representatives of the Kiev regime through Deputy Prime Minister Vereshchuk.

◽️ The retention by the Azov Nazis and foreign mercenaries of civilian hostages, if there are any, proves that they are not "defenders" but complete terrorists.

◽️ In this connection, the US State Department speaker's fed up attempts to habitually lie about the alleged retention by the Nazis of
