One civilian was allegedly injured by LNA shelling on the Khadra Hospital in Tripoli.

Hona Souq Al-Khmies wrote: “Al-Khadra Hospital has been exposed to indiscriminate rockets this afternoon on the Women’s and Obstetric Operations Department.

The doctor continues operations despite the difficult circumstance, fear and terror, a victim was exposed to shrapnel wounds.”

Other sources did not report civilian harm. Libya Ambulance Services said: “Part of the evacuation operations carried out by the rescue and emergency teams of patients from Al Hadaba Al Khadra’ General Hospital, which was subjected to shelling with random shells today, where more than 30 patients were evacuated.”

One man with uncler combatant status was allegedly killed by indiscriminate LNA shelling on Ain Zara.

Fathi M. El Krewi said: “He had an appointment with the death when the third shell struck and was on a solid ground, which is the paved road … As if someone was following these shells and giving their coordinates in order to fall on the hard ground and hit as many people as possible, including Brigadier General Msaddek.”

Tanasuh reported that he was a retired Brigadier General who “went out to defend the city” due to the incoming LNA attack.

His family later filed a lawsuit against LNA leader Khalifa Haftar claiming: “33. On April 4, 2019 [sic], Msaddek Tunalli was evacuating women and children from an area
being indiscriminately bombed by Haftar’s forces in the in the Ayan Zarah District.
34. Haftar’s forces were randomly shelling the entire area.
35. At approximately 4:45pm, one of the mortars fell on Msaddek Tunalli, killing him.
36. The medical examiner stated that Msaddek Tunalli’s death is a result of multiple
infliction wounds to the head, shoulders, stomach, and arms, which resulted in severe
skull damage and sever damage to the brain and internal bleeding in the brain. The
weapons used were multiple artillery rounds and mortar shells. The heart, lungs and
stomach were severely punctured with internal bleeding as well, which resulted in
loss of oxygen to the brain and suffocation. The right elbow was fractured. The angle
of penetration was from the back, from the right side of the brain and from the back
side of the arms, while the angle of exit was from the stomach area.
37. The medical examiner stated that Msaddek Tunalli’s body was free of alcohol or any
other poisonous substances.
38. The medical examiner found two shrapnel fragments in the front side of Msaddek
Tunalli’s lungs and has preserved them.
39. The indiscriminate shelling was not necessary on behalf of Haftar.
40. The indiscriminate shelling was the direct cause of Msaddek Tunalli’s death.

41. Msaddek Tunalli was a husband to Plaintiff Aida Elzagally and a father to six
children: Plaintiffs Ayah Tunalli, Alaa Tunalli, Abdulhameed Tunalli, Adbulrrauf
Tunalli, Muhammad Tunalli, and Adbuladeem Tunalli.
42. The Plaintiffs named above are not left without a husband and father and the only
financial support.
43. Plaintiffs Ayah Tunalli, Alaa Tunalli, Abdulhameed Tunalli, Adbulrrauf Tunalli,
Muhammad Tunalli, and Adbuladeem Tunalli are severely traumatized by the loss of
their father.
44. Due to the loss of her father, Ayah Tunalli is psychologically unstable and having
nightmares.”

Additionally Riyadh Burshan, Al Jazeera and Ein Libya reported that civilian infrastructure was targeted in the area as a book store of the Ministry of Education was hit and “5 million textbooks burned by the fires of war in Libya”.

Five or more civilians were allegedly killed by a NATO airstrike on Sirte.

Sirte martyrs posted the victims’ names and said: “These heroes were martyred by the NATO bombing in Sirte on 20 Ramadan of the Nakba year corresponding to 08-20-2011.”

Al Gharib Al Ajli wrote: “Meanwhile, 5 NATO missiles collapsed on our house, 5 terrible fire blocks on a house in a residential neighborhood, the house was destroyed and its columns fell and 5 martyrs fell among the best of the young, one of them was the son of my sister, the martyr Badr al-Naji Khalaf Allah.”

The source added: “They are young civilians, among the best young men in the city of Sirte, they were not on the back of a tank, or they were barricading machine guns.”

Surt Son posted a video of the bodies on Youtube titled: “Massacre led to the deaths of dozens of Libyans as a result of aggression of NATO.”

Various condolence pages commemorated the loss of family members in the incident over the years.

NATO reported striking one command and control node in Sirte on that day.

On July 6th, 2011, Gaddafi forces shelled the Al-Dafniya area, west of Misurata, killing three civilians and between 14 and 16 rebel fighters. An additional 42 to 50 rebel fighters were reported injured. No additional information on civilians were reported.

The head of the media committee in Misurata, quoted in CNN, stated that three civilians were killed by Grad rockets, reporting 14 rebel fighters killed and 42 other injured. Al-Alam TV reported 16 dead and more than 50 injured, although it was unclear how many of each were civilians.

Missiles from Gaddafi forces allegedly struck Misrata in Zawiyat Al-Mahjoub and near the coastal road at 10 in the evening and killed one young man named Muhammad Al-Kabayli and injured two others. According to a Facebook post by Free Misrata 4 ever, Muhammad died because there was a shortage of medical supplies due to a bombing of Ghiran earlier.

The areas struck by the rockets were residential areas. A video posted by Free Misrata on Youtube showed the physical damage caused by the airstrike, including a crater in the ground and cement and metal debris. A video posted by Al Somood showed damage to the roofs and walls of residential buildings.

The incident occured at 22:00:00 local time.
