Reports of the incident mention airstrikes in the Al Hawary (الهواري) neighborhood of Benghazi (بنغازي). After investigating visual material from sources, we narrowed this location down to a mosque northwest of the cement factory, the exact coordinates for which are: 32.013102, 20.126642.

In a separate incident to LC027, the LNA reported that it targeted ‘terrorist operation rooms’ with MiG-21s and MiG-23s in Qawarsheh.

It also said it sunk two rafts 150 West of Benghazi at 22:45 and a vessel at 03:25.

At 04:55 another vessel was reportedly targeted and destroyed.

The LNA targeted a marine trailer reportedly carrying 10 tanks, 3 containers of ammunition and a number of vehicles off the shores of Benghazi at around 03:00 according to its Facebook page.

In an apparent maritime version of a double tap strike, the LNA further reported that other boats then tried to save the people on the trailer but suggests that its planes struck them before they arrived: “As for the individuals on board of the vessels, three boats tried to rescue them in a desperate attempt to rescue them but the eagles of the air were on time and waiting for them.”

According to its Facebook page, an LNA MiG-21 and a MiG-23 targeted an alleged terrorist headquarters in Qawarsheh and completely destroyed it. The strikes took place at 12:10.

At 15:58 the MiG-21 reportedly struck two vessels 150km west off the coast of Benghazi.

At 22:45 the helicopter formation targeted two boats and at 03:25 and 04:55 in the same night it targeted other vessels.
The fate of any civilian crews onboard the vessels remains unknown.

Three civilians including one woman died and up to seven more people were wounded in strikes on Derna, according to local media. The source Alnabaa reported “12 raids”, while some other sources reported that barrel bombs were dropped.

LNA posted a video of its forces dropping a bomb on a ‘terrorist ammunition store’ in the sports city area of Derna. It further reported strikes near the Poppy Farm, the Turkish company hangar, on a gathering of fighters near south of Bab Sheha and a location at the foot of the mountain.

While the official LNA site did not mention civilians casualties, various local sources reported that three people dead and seven others were injured. Ajwa named the location of the incident as Al-Kassarat near the Dhahr al-Hamr area in the South of the city, putting the death toll at three with seven more wounded.

According to Libya Panorama one woman was killed.

The names of the dead were given as Mohammed Musab Shalawi and Masoud al-Ghaithi, a local imam, while the third body couldn’t be identified.

According to various local sources a GNA/Misurata Air Force airstrike hit a car while targeting ISIS forces. Two members of the al-Mazoughi family, a man and his wife, were reportedly severely injured. The incident took place near the villages Al-Washka, Al-Qadihah and Zamzam.

In addition, ten ISIS members were reported killed in the strike, including Tunisian, Sudanese, Somali and Libyan citizens.
