DeirEzzor24 reported “an aerial bombardment of the city of Al-Mayadim in the eastern suburb of Deir Al-Azur with an explosive barrel and guided missiles on 4 October 2017,” without appointing blame.
Most sources agreed that the strike had killed two brothers. However, their names were not spelt the same way among the reports, as they were identified as either Hamad Maher al-Tawfiq al-Ali and Ahmed Maher Tawfiq Al-Ali Al-Hamad or Mohammad Maher Al Ali Al-Hamad and Ahmed Maher Al-Ali Al-Hamad.
Due to the similarities in the names, it is Airwars’ assessment that only two men died, and not four as the different names could indicate.
Sources were also unclear as to whether who carried out the strike. While sources such as Euphrates Post and Syrian Human Rights Committee pointed to Russia, Almanarnews and AJA_Syria identified the Syrian regime as the culprit. Meanwhile, Enab Baladi attributed blame to both.

Two local sources reported that two named civilians – Shaimaa Walid Al Turki and Rahaf Darwish – died in an alleged Coalition airstrike on Al Baghouz camp.
According to revo.palmyra3, the two victimns were displaced from Palmyra and died “as a result of the daily bombardment of aircraft”.
Palmyra and Al Sukhna group noted that Rahaf Darwish was “young”, suggesting she may have been a child.
revo.palmyra3 noted that “many of the displaced are still trapped in the area and there is no news of them until now”.

Two men were killed and “dozens” more civilians were killed in an airstrike on Al-Ghabra, according to local media. Sources mostly blamed Russia, however a few blamed “warplanes” – not identifying a culprit.
Al Araby reported that ” al-Ghubra [is] in the vicinity of the city of Albuqmal at the Syrian-Iraqi border in the far east of Deir al-Zour”.

According to local media, a girl was killed and five others were wounded, in an airstrike on Tal Halawa refugee camp in Al Saboura, according to local media. Sources both blamed Russian warplanes for the strikes.
Civilian homes were also “targeted” by the warplanes.
Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that one girl was killed by Russian missile fire, however, Smart reported that as many as two were killed. They also specified that five civilians were wounded, four of those being children.
Allegedly, civilians were taken from the camp to medical points in the vicinity by members of the Civil Service.
