At least one man died from injuries sustained during his detention in a rebel-controlled facility in mid-November 2011 in Tajoura according to the UN Report Source Page 82.

A reported member of Gaddafi’s security agency was arrested at his father’s house on October 17, 2011 by rebels who did not have an arrest warrant and took him, along with four of his brothers and many of his possessions. The family of the man killed received a call from a Tripoli hospital saying that the man was in intensive care and by the next day, he was dead and his body was covered in injuries.

A boat carrying ammunition was possibly among the targets hit by airstrikes in Derna, according to local reports.

24/24 reported strike targeting a convoy of militants in “the southern axis” of Derna city.
Annona3 reported aircraft targeted “ammunition boats,” and suggested Egypt might have been responsible.

Another report on Twitter, posted by TanasuhTV, said that a “foreign airliner” had entered Libyan airspace and was flying over Derna.

Social media sources reported airstrikes on ten vehicles allegedly attempting to infiltrate Egypt.

Oded Berkowitz reported that the Egyptian Air Force bombed 10 vehicles “carrying weapons and ammunition near the border with Libya.”

An Alwast News described the incident similarly and cited the Egyptian Air Force as saying all 10 vehicles had been destroyed. A military spokesperson confirmed that they had targeted the vehicles as they allegedly tried to cross the border into Egypt.

The LNA reportedly targeted the Shura Council and ISIS with 25 airstrikes at dawn in the eastern part of the city.

According to Libya 24 News, “a plane belonging to the Libyan air force struck at dawn today sites belonging to the Libyan branch of the Islamic State organization ‘Daesh’ east of the city of Derna, amid ongoing clashes.”

Despite the significant number of reported airstrikes, there were no local published reports of civilian harm.
