Syria Civil Defense alleged that on June 27th there were “seven martyrs and 32 wounded, as a result of the continuous bombardment by the regime forces and its Russian ally” on June 27th, including “two civilians in al-Hawash.”

Mohamad Rasheed reported heavy artillery and mortar shelling by the Assad regime in the area, @liongeneral19 said the had been “bombing”. Both did no mention civilian harm.

Russian or Syrian regime warplanes allegedly fired missiles at the city of Kafar Zeita in Hama, wounding three people.

The Civil Defense Hama said: “Targeting residential neighborhoods in the city of Kafr Zita with two raids by warplanes, which resulted in the injury of 3 persons of varying degrees.” Shabab Al Latamina reported the same casualty toll quoting the Civil Defense.

Most sources accused Russia, while JisrTV and Smart News blamed the Syrian regime without mentioning civilian harm.

Masar Press wrote: “A woman was killed and her family members were injured in an airstrike by the Assad forces that targeted a house in the town of Kafr Sijnah in the southern countryside.”

Anas Almaarawi tweeted: “A woman was killed and three civilians were wounded as a result of the targeting of the town of Kafr Sijnah in the southern countryside of Idlib by warplanes.”

The vast majority of sources blamed the Syrian regime for the attack.

Three or four civilians of the same family were reportedly killed by an alleged Turkish airstrike on a civilian car on Berker near Sangasar on June 27th, 2019, according to local sources.

According to ANF, “Three civilians, including children and women, lost their lives and 5 civilians were injured in the attack. Among those who lost their lives are a woman and a 4-year-old child.”

Rudaw said that “four people from one family were killed on Thursday, June 27, 2019, by fighting between Turkey and Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) guerrillas and shelling of two villages at the foot of Mount Qandil.”

Nasnews quoted Iraqi MP Kawa Mohammed saying: “Turkish planes again bombed populated areas of the province of Arbil and killed four citizens and injured five others, all of them unarmed citizens living in the area.”

Hathalyoum reported: “Turkish warplanes bombed two civilian vehicles in the village of Barker in Sangasar district, killing four people, including three from one family and wounding five others.”

Baxtiyar Goran tweeted that there were two children among the injured.

In September 2019, the Christian Peacemaker Teams Iraqi Kurdistan (CPTIK) reported that “on June 27, 2019, the Turkish military fired a rocket at the vehicle of Abdullah Aali Mina killing him along with his daughter, Kurdistan, and his 17-year-old son, Haryad. The blast also wounded five additional family members, including his wife. They were returning home after a day-trip to their family lands in Ashqolka village near Sangasar. Initial reports claim that there was a PKK vehicle in the area and the Turkish military fired upon both vehicles.”

One child was reported injured in the explosion of a remnant of a cluster munition in Hayyan, Aleppo, on June 29th.

Step News agency alleged that “a child was seriously injured by a cluster bomb left behind by a former Russian military attack on the town of Hayyan, north of Aleppo.”

Shaam News claimed that he was hospitalised as a result of the explosion.

All sources stated that the cluster munition was a remnant from a previous attack by Russian forces. It is unknown when the munition was dropped.

Step News, JisrTV and other sources reported Syrian regime artillery shelling on Hayyan on the same day, resulting in civilian harm in a likely unrelated incident.
