One to three civilians were reported killed in airstrikes on al Latamina, Hama, on July 25th, 2019. @jisirtv tweeted that barrel bombs were used in the attack.

Syrian Network for Human Rights named one fatality as “Abdul Hakim Ahmad al Sayyed”, “killed as warplanes we believe were Russian fired several missiles on al Latamina town in Hama governorate northwestern suburbs, on July 25, 2019.”

In a later post, the source blamed Syrian regime helicopters that “dropped several barrel bombs on Ali bin Abi Taleb Mosque in al Qandila neighborhood”.

Orient News stated that “the Russian bombardment of rockets and cluster bombs killed three civilians in the town of Al Latamina,” and that “the dead were known as Khalid Mahmoud al-Hudayri, his son Ahmed, and Abdul Hakim al-Sayyid”. However, in incident RS3956, local sources said that Khalid was killed in Tahtaya, while his son Ahmad was killed in Khan Sheikhoun in the same day.

Syria Civil Defense also reported “direct targeting of the civil defense team in the city of Latamina in the countryside of Hama, a double raid of Russian warplanes – while working to recover a civilian casualty and a martyr from a previous targeting this morning.” @HadiAlabdallah tweeted a video showing what he described the targeting of Civil Defence volunteers who where pulling bodies of victims out of the rubble.

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the airstrike, stating that “a fighter of Jaysh Al-Izza was killed as a result of bombardment by warplanes on Al-Lataminah.”
