Initial reports by local sources said that three civilians were killed and ten others wounded in alleged Russian airstrikes on Maarzita in Idlib governorate, Syria on November 16th, 2019, according to local sources.
But the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SN4HR) reported on November 28th 2019 that a veterinarian who was injured in this airstrike has died. He was identified as Jamal Hashoum from Kansafra village in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, and he died on November 26. This raises the death toll of this incident to four, and makes the number of injuries between two and nine.
According to Step Agency “Hasan al-Mohammad, a correspondent of the Step News Agency in Idlib, said that the Russian warplanes launched several airstrikes on the town of Maarzita south of Idlib today, killing three civilians, and wounding 10 others who were badly transferred by the Civil Defense to safe hospitals.”
The local time of the incident is unknown.
