Airwars assessment
An unspecified number of civilians were wounded in an alleged Russian or regime airstrike on a clinic in Al Mahdoum, according to local media.
Syrianewsdesk reported: “The Russian warplanes aimed two rockets at the town of Al Mahdoum, under the control of the ISIS in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, injuring civilians and striking the only dispensary in the town.
“A civilian source from the town, who preferred not to be identified, told Syrianewsdesk that the two raids hit the clinic, which serves more than 20,000 people, resulting in the injury of a number of civilians, as well as the destruction of most of his equipment, leaving the clinic out of service. The wounded were taken to hospitals in the city of Raqqa which is under the control of the organisation [IS}.”
However, SYReporter blamed the regime, reporting “the helicopter flight of the Assad regime cast an explosive barrel in the vicinity of the agricultural extension building in the town of Al Mahdoum”.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
