Up to two civilians were killed and as many as seven more were wounded – including women and children – in an alleged Russian airstrike on Rakaya, local media reported. Two out of three sources blamed Russian warplanes for the raid, while Kaes Idlby did not attribute any blame.
According to Syria Mirror, residential areas and “vital centres” were caught up in the bombardment and partially destroyed.
Rocket propelled grenade launchers and cluster bombs were reportedly used in the raid.
