Airwars assessment
In airstrikes which reportedly “targeted” a medical centre in Tal Al-Daman, Aleppo, one civilian was killed and others were wounded. Sources were conflicted as to who was to blame, with most blaming Russia, while a few blamed the Syrian regime. One source didn’t identify the warplanes responsible.
Smart News Agency was the only local media to report on civilian harm.
Baladi News reported that “clashes and battles accompanied by artillery shelling and crazy missile by the [Syrian] regime forces on most villages and towns in the southern countryside of Aleppo”.
@Halab_TodayTV specified that there were 20 raids on the vicinity and that this target was the only medical point within the vicinity.
Images show partial damage to the infrastructure of the hospital and much damage to medical supplies.
One local source Tweeted that “Several air strikes with high-explosive missiles targeted the town of Tel Al Daman, south of Aleppo… heavy damage was caused to civilian homes and some public annexes in the town. Civil Defence teams searched the place, while no casualties were reported.” They did not attribute blame.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
