Airwars assessment
Up to two civilians, including a woman, were killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on the town of Al Jiza in the eastern suburbs of Dara’a, on June 29th, 2018, according to local sources. An unknown number of civilians was injured.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “at least two civilians, including a woman, were killed as Syrian/Russian regime warplanes fired missiles and Syrian regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on al Jeza town in Daraa governorate eastern suburbs, on June 29, 2018.”
The Violations Documentation Center of Syria identified one of the victims as the woman Ibtisam Zattam Al Zoubi, who was born in the town of Al Jiza.
@HalabTodayTV reported “a martyr and several wounded people, due to aerial bombardment of the regime, which targeted with explosive barrels the town of Jiza in the eastern countryside of Dara’a.”
@3bdalra7man7ar blamed Russia for the airstrikes.
