Airwars assessment
An unknown number of civilians was wounded in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on a hospital in the city of Al Lataminah on September 9th, 2018, according to local sources.
Step News reported that “in addition to a number of Russian raids targeting Al Lataminah, resulting in civilian casualties, the Al Lataminah Hospital was out of service, which stopped the access of medical services to civilians. The hospital is one of the most important hospitals providing services to the residents in the region.”
Shaam News Agency reported “a number of wounded”, but did not specify how many civilians were injured.
During the shelling, the Syrian Civil Defence in Hama (@civil_hama) tweeted that “more than ten raids with warplanes and five explosive barrels of helicopters and missile launchers have been targeting the city of Latamna for about an hour, and the shelling is still going on.”
While several sources blamed Syrian regime helicopters for the airstrike, Step Agency and Smart News Agency blamed Russia for the bombings.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
