Airwars assessment
Alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes struck the cities of Idlib, Ma`ra al-Nu’man and Ariha in the north of Idlib, killing a combined total of six civilians including three children and two women and wounding up to 40.
According to Syrian Network for Human Rights blamed the Syrian regime and reported that their warplanes fired missiles near al Sheikh Ahmad al Shaibani Mosque in Ariha city. The source added that “at least five civilians, including a child and two women, were killed”.
In a tweet, @ShahbaPress reported that in addition to five civilians who were killed, 15 were wounded including women and children.
Syrian Civil Defense forces, who were at the scene, claimed that six civilians were killed, including two women and a child. The source added that 22 others were injured, including eight children.
Ariha Today named those killed as Tarek Mustafa Ahmado, Nargis Izz al-Din, Fatima Ahmed Rihawi, Bakour Ahmado, Mahmoud Hamsho, Haj Taher Ahmado.
Step News reported in a preliminary toll that the airstrikes killed a child and a woman and wounded 20 civilians. In two following posts, the source reported that a total of six civilians were killed and 22 were wounded.
According to Shaam News, two of the six civilians were women and one was a child.
@SyrianCoalition claimed that three children and two women were among those killed and 40 women and children were wounded.
