One civilian was reported killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on Al Latamina, Hama governorate, on August 8th, 2019, according to local sources. An unknown number of others was injured.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “Mounqeth Shaker Al Ahmad was killed as Syrian regime warplanes fired missiles on the agricultural lands in al Latamina town in the northwestern suburbs of Hama governorate, on August 8th 2019.” Other sources also identified the victim as 40-year-old Mounqeth Shaker Al Ahmad.
A correspondent for SY-24 reported that “one of the airstrikes carried out by a Russian warplane on residential neighbourhoods in the city of Al Latamina in the northern Hama countryside, caused the death of a civilian and injured several people.”
@WatanFmsy tweeted: “A civilian from the city of Al Latamina in the northern Hama countryside was martyred after Al Assad warplanes launched missile strikes targeting the outskirts of the city.”
Sources attributed the attack to both Russian forces and the Syrian regime.
