At least one woman was reported injured and later pronounced dead as a result of alleged Russian shelling in Kharkiv, February 28th 2022.
Local sources reported that the woman was a ‘pensioner’ who died in hospital, after being seriously injured when Russian shelling entered her kitchen on the 11th floor of a residential apartment block.
Kharkiv Human Rights Group report added that two more projectiles hit the same address, damaging a gas pipeline, an official car, and set fire to civilian cars.
Most sources outlined the graphic nature of the victim’s injuries, with images shared widely of the projectile in what appears to be a residential home.

The incident occured in the afternoon.

She was taken to the city's emergency and emergency clinic, where she died.
