On Mar. 12, Coalition military forces conducted 13 strikes consisting of 90 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
In Syria, Coalition military forces conducted five strikes consisting of 8 engagements against ISIS targets.
* Near Ar Raqqah, four strikes [1 British] engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed two fighting positions and an ISIS headquarters.
* Near Dayr Az Zawr, one strike destroyed an oil refinement still and work rig.
In Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted eight strikes consisting of 82 engagements coordinated with and in support of the government of Iraq against ISIS targets.
* Near Mosul, six strikes [1 British] engaged six ISIS tactical units, an ISIS staging area and an ISIS sniper team; destroyed 16 fighting positions, five VBIEDs, four mortar systems, two rocket-propelled grenade systems, two supply caches, two VBIED factories, and a vehicle; damaged 22 supply routes; and suppressed 14 ISIS mortar teams, two ISIS tactical units, and an ISIS sniper team.
