Between Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, 2017, Coalition military forces conducted 25 strikes consisting of 28 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.



On Oct. 22, in Syria, Coalition military forces conducted seven strikes consisting of 10 engagements against ISIS targets.

• Near Abu Kamal, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS vehicle.

• Near Dayr Az Zawr, six strikes destroyed five defensive fighting positions, four ISIS lines of communication, a VBIED factory and an ISIS headquarters.



On Oct. 22, in Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted three strikes consisting of three engagements against ISIS targets.

• Near Al Qaim, three strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed an IED factory and an ISIS-held building.



On Oct. 21, in Syria, Coalition military forces conducted four strikes consisting of four engagements against ISIS targets.

• Near Abu Kamal, three strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed a VBIED factory, an ISIS-held building and a UAV.

• Near Ash Shadaddi, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed a fighting position.



On Oct. 21, in Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted 11 strikes consisting of 11 engagements against ISIS targets.

• Near Al Qaim, eight strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed six ISIS vehicles, three ISIS-held buildings, a VBIED factory, a checkpoint and a petroleum, oil, and lubrication site.

• Near Rawah, two strikes destroyed an ISIS-held building and a VBIED factory.

• Near Tal Afar, one strike destroyed an ISIS tunnel.
