Two civilians were reported killed in alleged US-led Coalition strikes on Raqqa city.
Sources stated that ‘artillery shelling’ was responsible. Airwars understands that only the Coalition has access to artillery at Raqqa.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights gave moe details of the two medics slain: Dr Fouad Bashir al Ajili was born in 1955 and was a dentist. Dr Qais Al Sayed Ahmed was born in 1951 and was a gynecologist. According to the report “international coalition warplanes fired missiles on a house in Jam’iyet al Atteba area near School’s Books Administration in Raqqa City”.
A February 2nd report from Media Without Border later stated that the bodies of both doctors were exhumed and reburied.
