One civilian died in an alleged Coalition airstrike on the old bridge in Raqqa, according to local sources.

Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reported that “Coalition planes launcedh new raids targeting the old Raqqa bridge, destroying large parts of it, in addition to killing the young man Ahmad Saleh al Arab“.

According to Step news agency, “Coalition aircraft returned at dawn today to target the old bridge in Raqqa with several air raids which led to the destruction of large parts of it and the death of one civilian near the bridge“.

Al Hadath, Ka’aKa’a al A’nzi and the Shaam News Network also blamed the Coalition.

For February 26th-27th, the Coalition reported: “Near Ar Raqqah, eight strikes engaged five ISIS tactical units and an ISIS staging area and destroyed four fighting positions, two ammo caches, a mortar system, a vehicle, a chemical weapons facility and an ISIS headquarters.” For February 27th-28th: “Near Ar Raqqah, nine strikes engaged four ISIS tactical units and destroyed two well heads, two fighting positions, an oil storage tank, an ISIS-held building, an ISIS headquarters, a tunnel, a vehicle and a VBIED.”
