The clashes pitted local youth against Israeli forces who attempted to storm the town and carry out an arrest campaign. The fighting was accompanied by artillery and airstrikes. The clashes and the ground and air bombardment resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people, including 7 civilians, among them women and children. The death toll is expected to rise due to the presence of 20 wounded, some in critical condition, others missing under the rubble, and some detained by the Israeli army. Six Israeli soldiers were also wounded during the operation, according to the Israeli army. The Israeli shelling also caused a house to collapse. Thirteen civilians, including two women and two children from the same family, were killed, and 24 others, including women and children, were injured, some critically, according to the Damascus Countryside Health Directorate. At 10:00 AM, the teams were able to enter the town and confirmed that no other injured individuals required transport. Meanwhile, residents are fleeing the village for fear of continued violations and escalating violence. Emergency teams evacuated several families to the neighboring town of Sa'a. #Urgent: During the night, based on intelligence gathered in recent weeks, the 210th Division launched an operation to apprehend wanted members of the Islamic Group who operated in the village of Beit Jann in southern Syria and were planning terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens. During the operation, terrorists opened fire on IDF forces, who returned fire, with air support provided to the forces in the area. Two officers and a reservist were seriously wounded, another reservist sustained moderate injuries, and an officer and a reservist sustained minor injuries. Israeli Occupation Forces Commit Horrific Massacre in Beit Jinn, Rural Damascus Israeli occupation forces launched a heinous attack on the town of Beit Jinn in the southwestern Damascus countryside, committing a massacre that left 13 martyrs and approximately 25 wounded. Among the martyrs killed in the Israeli bombardment were: Abdullah Kasahout, Ismail Kasahout, Qassem Hamada, Abdo Hamada, Muhammad Hamada, Basel Kamal, Hassan Abdul-Razzaq al-Saadi, Muhammad Daabous, Heba Khalil Abu Daher, Muhammad Akasha, and Hussam al-Samman. Following the attack, dozens of families fled the town to neighboring villages, fearing further attacks on Beit Jinn. For his part, the mayor of Beit Jann, Abdul Rahman al-Hamrawi, told Agence France-Presse that the Israeli occupation army had entered Beit Jann to arrest three young men from the town, leading to clashes with residents who tried to resist the incursion. Following this, the Israeli occupation forces shelled the village with drones and artillery, according to the mayor. The Syrian Human Rights Committee strongly condemns this blatant and unjustified aggression against a sovereign state, which aims to destabilize the region, turning the anniversary of the battle to repel the aggression into a day of mourning. He pointed out that the Damascus Countryside ambulance system, in cooperation with the Syrian Civil Defense, provided first aid to those who did not require hospitalization. Dr. Hasaba explained that the Hermon Center and Sa'sa' points were activated, and coordination was underway with the Golan National Hospital to provide the necessary medical care to those injured in the aggression as quickly as possible. ريف دمشق-سانا استشهد 13 مواطناً وأصيب العشرات بينهم أطفال اليوم، جراء العدوان الإسرائيلي على بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق، في حصيلة أولية. وفي تصريح لـ سانا، أوضح مدير صحة ريف دمشق الدكتور توفيق إسماعيل حسابا أن عدد الشهداء جراء هذا الاعتداء ارتفع إلى 13 شهيداً في حصيلة أولية، بينما هناك عشرات المصابين، مشيراً إلى أنه تم نقل 6 شهداء منهم إلى مشفى المواساة بدمشق، و جرى دفن 6 شهداء في مزرعة بيت جن، بسبب صعوبة الوصول إليهم في الساعات الأولى من الاعتداء الإسرائيلي. وبين الدكتور حسابا أن 24 مصاباً نقلوا إلى المشافي موزعين على المواساة والمجتهد بدمشق، وقطنا بريف دمشق، والجولان الوطني بالقنيطرة، بعضهم في حالة حرجة، ويحتاجون لإجراء عمليات جراحية، لافتاً إلى أن منظومة إسعاف ريف دمشق بالتعاون مع الدفاع المدني السوري قدمت الإسعافات الأولية للحالات التي لا تستدعي النقل إلى المشافي. وأوضح الدكتور حسابا أنه تم تفعيل نقطة مركز الحرمون ونقطة سعسع، والتنسيق مع مشفى الجولان الوطني لتأمين الرعاية الطبية اللازمة للمصابين جراء العدوان بالسرعة القصوى. الدفاع المدني: طيران الاحتلال عرقل دخول فرقنا لبيت جن من جانبه، أوضح مدير مديرية الدفاع المدني في محافظة ريف دمشق شادي الحسن أن فرق الإسعاف توجهت فوراً إلى بلدة بيت جن، لإنقاذ المصابين ولم تستطع الدخول إليها بسبب طيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الذي يستهدف كل شيء يتحرك. وبين أن الفرق تمكنت من الدخول إلى البلدة في العاشرة صباحاً، وتوجهت إلى الأماكن التي قصفها الاحتلال من شوارع ومنازل وأحد المساجد، وعملت على تقديم الإسعافات اللازمة للمصابين، ونقلتهم إلى المشافي. وأكد أن فرق الدفاع المدني قامت بمسح سريع للتأكد من عدم وجود ذخائر غير متفجرة، وطلبت فريقاً متخصصاً من أجل إجراء مسح كامل، ووضعت إشارات تحذيرية في الأماكن التي استهدفها الاحتلال. يذكر أن الاحتلال الإسرائيلي نفذ فجر اليوم عدواناً على بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق، أدى إلى وقوع عدد من الشهداء والجرحى بعد توغل قوة عسكرية تابعة له داخل البلدة، واعتقال ثلاثة أشخاص قبل انسحابها. وفي المقابل، تصدى أهالي البلدة لقوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي المتوغلة التي قامت بإطلاق نار كثيف، وتزامن ذلك مع تحليق طيران الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بشكل واسع فوق البلدة، بينما شهدت البلدة حركة نزوح واسعة للأهالي نحو البلدات المجاورة. وأدانت سوريا اعتداء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على البلدة مؤكدة أنه يشكل جريمة حرب مكتملة الأركان، مشيرة إلى أن استمرار هذه الاعتداءات الإجرامية يهدد الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، ويأتي في سياق سياسة منهجية لزعزعة الأوضاع وفرض واقع عدواني بالقوة. وجددت سوريا مطالبتها مجلس الأمن والأمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية بالتحرك العاجل لوضع حد لاعتداءات وانتهاكات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، واتخاذ إجراءات رادعة تضمن احترام سيادتها ووحدة أراضيها والالتزام بالقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.

A shocking scandal!! Researcher Elizabeth Tsurkov says that one of those killed in the Israeli attack on the village of #Beit_Jinn was Hassan al-Saadi, a fighter who previously worked with Israel on a monthly salary. (انظر الصورة في التعليقات ). حسن السعدي كان مقاتلاً في فصيل (مموّل إسرائيلياً) يقوده المدعو إياد كمال، المعروف باسم "مورو"! وكان الكثير من سكان قرية بيت جن قد استفادوا في السنوات السابقة من المساعدات الإسرائيلية ضمن مشروع "حسن الجوار" الإسرائيلي، وكان العديد من شبابهم يعملون في صفوف فصائل "ثورية" تتقاضى رواتبَ شهريةً من إسرائيل.

The continuation of these attacks constitutes a serious threat to regional peace and security and necessitates a firm international stance to stop these violations. What happened in Beit Jinn is a fully-fledged crime against our people. This is an Israeli army vehicle in Beit Jann that they abandoned as they fled after encountering resistance from residents. Six soldiers were wounded, three of them critically, including two officers. Afterwards, they fled, shelling homes and the vehicle they had left behind. So far, 13 civilians, including women, have been killed.

The town of Beit Jinn has lost a group of its courageous young men. This is not surprising for Beit Jinn, as it was the cradle of the revolution in the western Damascus countryside. As usual, Beit Jann paid the price for its pride and dignity, and it was a high and costly price, but the precious becomes cheap in defense of religion, honor, and land. What happened in Syria? Residents of the Syrian town of Beit Jinn confronted an Israeli military force at dawn today. At dawn on Friday, November 28, 2025, the town of Beit Jinn in the southern Damascus countryside (southern Syria, near the border with the occupied Golan Heights) witnessed an Israeli ground incursion accompanied by airstrikes and fierce clashes with local residents, resulting in significant casualties and material damage. The Israeli army announced it had carried out an "arrest operation" targeting suspected members of the "Islamic Group," based on intelligence information, who had allegedly participated in attacks against Israeli civilians. Special forces (from the 210th Reserve Brigade) entered the town, supported by drones and tanks. Local gunmen and residents opened fire on the forces, wounding six soldiers. The Israeli forces were forced to abandon a damaged military vehicle, which was subsequently targeted by airstrikes. Airstrikes also hit homes and vital roads. This operation comes within the context of an ongoing Israeli escalation in southern Syria, following the collapse of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in December 2014 and the Syrian government's refusal to accept new Israeli demands. Syrian authorities condemned the incursion as a "violation of sovereignty," while the Islamic Jihad Movement described it as "the heroism of the people of Beit Jinn" in resisting the occupation. This event poses a new and direct challenge to the Syrian government, raising concerns about the expansion of Israeli operations within Syrian territory. If the Israelis realize that every incursion will be met with a response, and that their soldiers will pay a price, they will think twice before any further incursions. Is this a message from the new regime that the era of impunity is over, and that there are many ways to retaliate? Or were the residents of Beit Jann the ones who made the decision?

In what constitutes a war crime against civilians, the Israeli occupation forces committed a horrific massacre at dawn today, Friday, killing 13 civilians, including women and children, from the town of Beit Jinn in the western Damascus countryside. This resulted from a deliberate and barbaric bombardment of civilian homes. Several local sources from Beit Jinn described the details of the incident, telling Al-Watan newspaper: “Around 4:00 AM this morning, Friday, an Israeli force, consisting of a military vehicle and other vehicles carrying personnel, entered the town, while Israeli drones flew overhead.” According to the sources, the occupation forces arrested three civilians—Muhammad Akasha, Nidal Akasha, and Ibrahim al-Saadi—from their homes. Residents protested, leading to clashes between the residents and the occupation army, which resulted in injuries to several Israeli soldiers. Following this, the occupation forces began shelling civilian homes with artillery, mortars, and helicopters, resulting in the deaths of 11 civilians, including women and children, and injuring more than 20 others, some critically. The death toll later rose to 13. Sources reported that among the martyrs were Muhammad Da’bous, Basil Kamal, Muhammad al-Hassan, Ismail Kasahout, Abdullah Kasahout, and another person from the al-Samman family, in addition to Muhammad Hamada, his brother, his wife, and their children, whose home was destroyed while they were inside due to the shelling. The sources indicated that the shelling caused a displacement of residents from the town to safer areas. The sources strongly denied the Israeli occupation army's claims that the three individuals arrested belonged to what it called the "Islamic Group" and that they were working and planning attacks against Israeli civilians. The sources stated: "What the occupation claims is a lie and a fabrication to justify its aggression. What it claims is completely false." Mohammed Akasha works in the private sector, Nidal Akasha returned a few months ago from Lebanon where he had been working, and Ibrahim al-Saadi works as a shepherd. The sources pointed out that, like residents of other cities, towns, and villages, the people of Beit Jinn have sons who have volunteered in the Internal Security Forces and the Ministry of Defense. The sources emphasized that there is absolutely no presence of what is called the “Islamic Group” in Beit Jinn, stating, “Even if we assume there are terrorists, we live in a country with laws and institutions, and it is these institutions that combat terrorism, not the Israeli occupation.” They added, “The Syrian security services, the Internal Security Forces, and the Ministry of Defense are doing what is required of them in this regard, and the whole world has witnessed this.” This is not the first time that Israeli occupation forces have entered the town of Beit Jinn, located on the slopes of Mount Hermon in the western Damascus countryside. On June 12, they stormed the town and arrested seven people, claiming they belonged to the Palestinian Hamas movement. Their fate remains unknown, while Damascus confirmed that these individuals were not members of Hamas. Civilians. Days earlier, the Israeli occupation army carried out an attack targeting Anas Abboud, a former fighter in the Syrian revolutionary factions, claiming he was a member of Hamas. Syrian state television reported an "Israeli aggression" against the village of Beit Jinn, located southwest of Damascus on the slopes of Mount Hermon, resulting in "martyrs, including women and children, while others remain trapped under the rubble." The village head, Abdul Rahman al-Hamrawi, told AFP that "the Israeli occupation army entered Beit Jinn to arrest three young men from the village, leading to clashes with residents who tried to resist the incursion." Following this, "Israeli occupation forces shelled the village with drones and artillery," according to al-Hamrawi, causing casualties. Dr. Tawfiq Ismail explained that the injured were transferred to Al-Mowasat Hospital and Qatana Hospital in the Damascus countryside. Some were in critical condition and required surgery. Although the Israelis claimed the wounded were "terrorists" belonging to the "Islamic Group," local sources confirmed that the detainees had no known organizational or security affiliations and were simply civilians working in agriculture and livestock farming. Following this incident, Israeli forces launched retaliatory attacks. In Quneitra, occupation forces targeted Tell Ahmar, east of the province's countryside, with artillery fire and renewed their incursion into the province's countryside at the Umm Batna junction in northern Quneitra, where three military vehicles advanced into the area. عملية بيت جن... هل التصعيد الإسرائيلي مرتبط برفض دمشق التنازل عن مناطق محتلة؟ تل أبيب عرضت في المفاوضات اتفاق تفاهمات أمنية مع بقاء احتلالها لـ10 مواقع... أو اتفاق سلام من دون الجولان تشييع أحد ضحايا العملية الإسرائيلية في بيت جن الجمعة (إ.ب.أ) تل أبيب: نظير مجلي آخر تحديث: 16:39-29 نوفمبر 2025 م ـ 08 جمادى الآخرة 1447 هـ نُشر: 17:26-28 نوفمبر 2025 م ـ 07 جمادى الآخرة 1447 هـ TT 20 في وقت تؤكد فيه إسرائيل أن توغل قواتها في بلدة بيت جن السورية، في الساعات الماضية، جاء نتيجة عملية أمنية لمكافحة تنظيمات إرهابية، يقول محللون إن السبب الحقيقي وراء هذا التوغل يكمن في فشل جولة المفاوضات الأخيرة بين دمشق وتل أبيب، التي حاولت فيها إسرائيل فرض إرادتها بضم أراضٍ سورية، وفقاً لمبدأ «السلام بالقوة». وبحسب هؤلاء المحللين، عرض المفاوضون الإسرائيليون خيارين على حكومة الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع: إما التوصل إلى اتفاق سلام كامل تتنازل فيه دمشق عن أراضي الجولان المحتلة منذ عام 1967، وإما اتفاق تفاهمات مرحلي تُبقي فيه إسرائيل احتلالها لعشر نقاط في عمق الأراضي السورية من جبل الشيخ شمالاً وحتى الحدود الجنوبية. وقد كشف عن جوهر هذا الخلاف وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي، يسرائيل كاتس، في تصريحاته الأخيرة التي قال فيها إنه يستبعد وجود «اتجاه للسلام» مع سوريا؛ ففي جلسة مغلقة للجنة الخارجية والأمن في البرلمان (الكنيست)، الأربعاء، قال كاتس إن «سوريا تطالب بتنازل إسرائيل عن الجولان، وهذا مستحيل». ولكن كاتس أضاف حججاً تذرع بها للإبقاء على قوات الجيش الإسرائيلي وتنفيذ عملياته الحربية في العمق السوري، قائلاً إن «هناك قوى داخل حدودها (داخل سوريا) تفكر في غزو بلدات الجولان واستخدامها نقطة انطلاق لتنفيذ هجوم على البلدات الإسرائيلية (يقصد المستوطنات في الجولان)». وذكر بين هذه القوى عدة تنظيمات إسلامية؛ بينها الحوثيون وميليشيات إيرانية وكذلك «داعش» و«حماس» وجماعات إسلامية أخرى، معتبراً أنها جميعها تشكل تهديداً «لغزو بري لشمال إسرائيل». وقد أثارت هذه التصريحات استهجاناً حتى في تل أبيب؛ فكتبت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» أنه «لم يسبق لإسرائيل أن تحدثت عن محاولات من جماعة الحوثيين اليمنية للعمل ضد إسرائيل من الأراضي السورية. ولا تتوفر أي معلومات عن نشاط في سوريا للحوثيين الذين سبق لهم إطلاق صواريخ ومسيّرات على إسرائيل خلال العامين الماضيين رداً على حربها لإبادة قطاع غزة». عربة «همفي» دمرها الإسرائيليون خلال انسحابهم من بيت جن (أ.ف.ب) وأثار كاتس مجدداً مسألة الدروز في سوريا، قائلاً إنها مسألة «تثير قلق المسؤولين الإسرائيليين»، وهدد بأن «لدى الجيش الإسرائيلي خطة جاهزة، وإذا حدثت غارات على جبل الدروز (جنوب سوريا) مرة أخرى، فسنتدخل مرة أخرى، بما في ذلك إغلاق الحدود». وبموازاة ذلك، كان الجيش الإسرائيلي قد عزز وجوده في المنطقة الواسعة التي احتلها في العمق السوري منذ سقوط نظام بشار الأسد، وتبلغ مساحتها 450 كيلومتراً مربعاً، إضافة إلى احتلال جميع قمم جبل الشيخ وبناء 10 مواقع عسكرية كبيرة فيها. وبعد أن كان سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي شن هجوماً شاملاً على مطارات سوريا وقواعدها العسكرية، فور سقوط النظام قبل نحو السنة، وقضى خلالها على 85 في المائة من قدراته الدفاعية، واصل شن الغارات على مناطق متفرقة في سوريا من دير الزور إلى حمص ومن حلب إلى درعا، ونفذ عمليات اجتياح لاعتقال من يسميهم «مشبوهين بالإرهاب». كما تدخل الجيش الإسرائيلي في الصراعات الداخلية في الجنوب السوري بحجة الدفاع عن الدروز، وطالب بممر إسرائيلي من الجولان إلى السويداء، التي تقطنها غالبية درزية. وقسمت إسرائيل الجنوب السوري إلى منطقتين؛ الأولى كانت عبارة عن حزام أمنى على طول الحدود بعمق 5 - 7 كيلومترات، ويحظر فيه دخول أي مسلح، والثانية منطقة منزوعة السلاح ولا تدخلها آليات ثقيلة للجيش السوري وتمتد من دمشق وحتى درعا. وقد نفذت إسرائيل اعتداءات متفرقة في هذه المناطق الحدودية في وقت كانت فيه وفود تفاوض رفيعة بين البلدين تجتمع في عواصم مختلفة بإشراف وسطاء (مثل الولايات المتحدة وتركيا وأذربيجان). دمار في منزل قصفه الجنود الإسرائيليون ببيت جن السورية الجمعة (الدفاع المدني السوري - أ.ب) ويرى محللون أن الضربات العسكرية الإسرائيلية الأخيرة كانت جزءاً من أدوات التفاوض، والضغط لفرض تنازلات على دمشق. وفي الأسابيع الأخيرة استقدمت إسرائيل القوة 55 في الجيش الإسرائيلي، المعروفة بقوات الكوماندوز، وتم جلبها من منطقة خان يونس في قطاع غزة، لتنفذ عمليات على نمط ما قامت به في القطاع وفي بنت جبيل اللبنانية أيضاً. واقتحمت هذه القوات، فجر الجمعة، بلدة بيت جن بريف دمشق جنوب سوريا بقوات كبيرة لغرض اعتقال 3 أشخاص تشتبه بأنهم يشاركون في الإعداد لعمليات ضد إسرائيل. وبعد أن قامت باعتقالهم وهم على فراشهم في البيوت، وبدأت في مغادرة البلدة، تم إطلاق الرصاص عليها. ونتيجة لهذا الإطلاق المفاجئ أصيبت القوات بالصدمة والهلع، وغاصت ناقلة جنود في الوحل، وهربت القوة الإسرائيلية تاركة وراءها «جيب هامر» عسكرية ضخمة تعمل كالدبابة، لكنها دمرتها من الجو حتى تمنع وقوعها بأيدي المسلحين. وقد أعلن الجيش أن 6 من جنوده وضباطه أصيبوا في الحادث، جراح اثنين منهم بالغة، وثالث متوسطة. فيما أعلن السوريون عن مقتل 13 مواطناً، وأصروا على أن القصف الإسرائيلي استهدف مواطنين مدنيين لا غير. وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي إن عمليته «اكتملت. جميع المطلوبين اعتُقلوا، وتم القضاء على عدد من (العناصر الإرهابية)»، لافتاً إلى أنّ «قوات الجيش منتشرة في المنطقة، وستواصل العمل ضد أي تهديد يستهدف إسرائيل ومواطنيها». ومع أن الإسرائيليين قالوا إن المصابين هم «مخربون» ينتمون إلى «الجماعة الإسلامية»، أكدت مصادر محلية أنه لا يعرف عن المعتقلين أي ارتباط تنظيميّ أو أمنيّ، بل إنهم من المدنيين العاملين في الزراعة وتربية المواشي. وباشرت القوات الإسرائيلية تنفيذ هجمات حربية انتقامية بعد هذه الحادثة، ففي القنيطرة، استهدفت قوات الاحتلال تل أحمر شرق ريف المحافظة بعدد من قذائف المدفعية، وجدّدت توغلها بريف المحافظة عند مفرق أم باطنة في ريف القنيطرة الشمالي، حيث توغّلت 3 آليات عسكرية بالمنطقة. وقالت إسرائيل إن لديها «بنك أهداف» للرد على إصابة جنودها في بيت جن.

This is not the first time Israel has attacked villages on the occupied border. It has previously infiltrated villages in the Jabal al-Sheikh area of Qatana, in the Damascus countryside, on several occasions since seizing the Syrian observation post atop the strategic Jabal al-Sheikh hill, which overlooks vast areas of Damascus, its surrounding countryside, and Quneitra, as well as parts of Lebanese territory. This latest military incursion is radically different, however, due to popular resistance against the occupation following repeated attacks on Syrian civilians in Beit Jinn. These attacks have gone unpunished despite the deaths of several people and the arrest of others who were taken to the occupied territories, with no information about their fate to date. What happened? Sources from Syria TV confirm that an Israeli occupation patrol entered the town of Beit Jinn between 3:00 and 4:00 AM to arrest several young men. However, a number of Beit Jinn youths confronted the patrol, leading to an armed clash. Calls have been made for popular support to repel the patrol, surround it, and prevent its withdrawal. The Israeli army mobilized additional forces and launched a series of attacks using drones, missiles, and artillery shells. Despite this, a number of Israeli soldiers were killed and wounded in what is considered the most significant escalation since the fall of the former regime on December 8, 2014, and all the incursions and violations carried out by the occupation forces along the border. Sources in the city of Qatana revealed to Syria TV that the sounds of shelling were heard in the early morning hours in areas approximately 20 kilometers from Beit Jinn, confirming its intensity and force. The shelling resulted in the deaths of 13 people, mostly children and women, including young men from the town who confronted the occupation forces. An Israeli patrol also left behind a military vehicle that was subsequently shelled. Among the martyrs killed in the Israeli shelling were: Abdullah Kasahout, Ismail Kasahout, Qasim Hamada, Abdo Hamada, Muhammad Hamada, Basil Kamal, Hassan Abdul-Razzaq al-Saadi, Muhammad Daabous, Hiba Khalil Abu Daher, Muhammad Akasha, and Hussam al-Samman. A correspondent for Syria TV in the area reported that dozens of families fled the town to neighboring villages, fearing a repeat of the shelling of Beit Jinn. Meanwhile, residents mourned their dead and transported the wounded to the nearest available hospitals. Residents of Beit Jinn confirmed to Syria TV that there are no non-Syrian fighters in the entire area and that they do not wish to fight the occupation. They emphasized that they did not go to the occupation; rather, it came to them and threatened their security and stability, which is why the confrontation occurred. "It is inconceivable that the occupation can storm our villages and towns, arrest our youth, and expect us to remain silent," they said. For his part, the mayor of Beit Jinn, Abdul Rahman al-Hamrawi, told AFP that the Israeli occupation army entered Beit Jinn to arrest three young men from the town, leading to clashes with residents who tried to resist the incursion. Following this, the Israeli occupation forces shelled the village with drones and artillery, according to the mayor. Israeli shelling of Beit Jinn What does the occupation say? Returning to the Israeli narrative, its claims center on an operation targeting "wanted individuals" suspected of planning attacks within the occupied territories, according to Yedioth Ahronoth. The Hebrew newspaper reported that the Israeli army carried out an arrest operation targeting young Syrian men suspected of belonging to the "Lebanese Islamic Group." The Islamic Group is known to be an organization active in Lebanon, and Israel has previously targeted several of its leaders during its last war against Lebanon. The Israeli army announced that six Israeli soldiers were wounded, with injuries ranging from serious to moderate to minor, and were transferred to a hospital for treatment. It did not mention any fatalities, asserting that the operation had ended, all suspects had been arrested, and some had been killed, according to its statement. The Israeli army further stated that "militants attacked an Israeli army Hummer, injuring the soldiers inside. The vehicle was disabled, abandoned, and subsequently shelled." The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that the Israeli army withdrew to the outskirts of Beit Jann after two hours of clashes, and the wounded were airlifted by helicopter to Israeli hospitals. The newspaper quoted security officials as saying they currently see no indication of any response from the government forces loyal to President Ahmed al-Sharaa. They emphasized that "this incident highlights the extent of the danger posed by allowing hostile elements to establish a presence near Israel, and that an agreement with Syria is currently impossible because the country is unstable." They added, according to the newspaper, "This most clearly demonstrates why we cannot withdraw from the areas we have captured, especially the Mount Hermon area." Israeli media claimed that the arrests were based on "intelligence information" received in recent weeks, and that the operation was a "preemptive action" to thwart a potential threat. Israeli occupation forces on the Syrian border: How did the Syrian government respond? For its part, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned "the criminal Israeli aggression in the town of Beit Jinn, which led to clashes as a result of the residents' resistance." It indicated that the occupation forces, due to their failure to advance, resorted to targeting the town of Beit Jinn with a brutal bombardment that resulted in a horrific massacre in which children and women were killed. The ministry held the Israeli occupation responsible for the serious aggression, stressing that the continued attacks threaten the region's security. The Syrian government had previously called on the international community to intervene to stop the ongoing Israeli violations that have persisted since the fall of the Assad regime nearly a year ago. The new Syrian government maintains a consistent strategy of avoiding any clashes with the occupation forces, despite their ongoing incursions into border areas. This strategy aims to prevent providing pretexts for a massive military escalation that could end Syria's nascent experiment, especially given the numerous security and economic challenges the government faces. The country is attempting to recover after 14 years of war waged by the regime with direct military support from Russia and Iran, in addition to the presence of other foreign forces in northern and northeastern Syria. It is unlikely that any security agreement will be reached soon between Syria and the Israeli occupation based on the 1974 ceasefire agreement along the border, particularly since the occupation forces have violated it dozens of times since the regime's fall, and negotiations have yet to yield any publicly announced results. It employs different methods in dealing with the border villages, carrying out incursions into Quneitra almost daily. These incursions involve uprooting trees, bulldozing homes, and harassing residents about their livelihoods and daily lives, while the residents reject and burn aid. Sources in the Quneitra countryside told Syria TV that the Israeli occupation forces are conducting daily incursions into the villages and towns of Jabata al-Khashab, al-Ajraf, Ufania, Ain al-Bayda, al-Hurriya, al-Rafid, al-Hamidiya, Jurat al-Sheikh, Saida al-Hanout, al-Samdaniya, Rasm al-Qata, and others. The sources added that these incursions include establishing military checkpoints, harassing residents, preventing them from moving freely, and arresting some civilians. Some are released, while others remain detained in unknown locations. The same applies to the villages of Daraa bordering the occupied territories, where occupation forces have infiltrated the villages of Maariya, Abdeen, Jumla, Maaraba, Sisoun, Al-Masritiya, and Kuya in the Yarmouk Basin, as well as other villages in the Al-Bakr area, the vicinity of Sidon, and villages between Quneitra and Daraa, such as Sidon al-Jawlan and Al-Muqraz. The incursions included the seizure of some villages, the establishment of checkpoints and roadblocks, the storming of homes, and the detonation of military equipment and underground concrete structures. As for the villages of Mount Hermon, Israel has dealt with them from the outset with even harsher measures. These villages have long-standing smuggling routes with Lebanon via Mount Hermon. Although these smuggling routes have been almost completely severed since the fall of the regime due to the occupation's control of the Syrian observation post on the summit of Mount Hermon, the incursions and violations have continued, particularly in Beit Jinn, which is the center of a sub-district belonging to the Qatana region. Qatana is the center of the Qatana district, which comprises four sub-districts: Qatana Center Sub-district, Beit Jann Sub-district, Sa'sa' Sub-district, and Jadida Artouz Sub-district. According to the 2004 census, the population of Beit Jann Sub-district was over 15,000, while current figures indicate approximately 35,000, with a third of them living between the towns of Beit Jann and Mazra'at Beit Jann. Sources from Syria TV confirm that the Israeli occupation is attempting to impose constant restrictions on the residents with the aim of displacing them, as Beit Jann represents an obstacle to its control over the Beit Jann perimeter, a strategic town nestled among the villages of Mount Hermon. Sources inside the town added that the occupation has not succeeded in winning over any of the residents, especially in its recruitment attempts, which it has always pursued in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Golan Heights as well.

هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي تهاجم فيها إسرائيل قرى على الحدود المحتلة، فقد سبق أن توغلت أكثر من مرة في قرى جبل الشيخ التابعة لمنطقة قطنا بريف دمشق، منذ سيطرتها على المرصد السوري فوق تلة جبل الشيخ الاستراتيجية والتي تكشف مساحات واسعة من دمشق وريفها والقنيطرة إلى جانب مناطق من الأراضي اللبنانية أيضاً. التوغل العسكري الجديد مختلف جذرياً، لحدوث مقاومة شعبية ضد الاحتلال بعد تكرار الاعتداء على المدنيين السوريين في بيت جن أكثر من مرة من دون أي رادع رغم استشهاد أكثر من شخص واعتقال آخرين وأخذهم إلى الأراضي المحتلة، من دون معرفة أي معلومة عنهم حتى الآن. ما الذي حدث؟ مصادر تلفزيون سوريا، تؤكد أن دورية للاحتلال الإسرائيلي توغلت بين الثالثة والرابعة فجراً في بلدة بيت جن لاعتقال عدد من الشباب، لكن ما حصل أن عدداً من شباب بيت جن تصدوا لها، وحدث اشتباك مسلح، وسط دعوات لمؤازرات شعبية لصد الدورية وحصارها ومنعها من الخروج. استعدى جيش الاحتلال قوات أخرى وبدأت سلسلة من القصف بالمسيرات والصواريخ والقذائف، ومع ذلك أصيب وقتل عدد من قوات الاحتلال، في تصعيد هو الأعلى منذ سقوط النظام المخلوع في 8 كانون الأول 2024، وكل التوغلات والانتهاكات التي نفذها الاحتلال على طول الحدود. مصادر في مدينة قطنا كشفت لتلفزيون سوريا، أن أصوات القصف سمعت في ساعات الفجر الأولى في مناطق تبعد قرابة 20 كيلومتراً عن بيت جن، الأمر الذي يؤكد كثافتها وقوتها أيضاً. تسبب القصف في استشهاد 13 شخصاً معظمهم من الأطفال والنساء، وبينهم من شباب البلدة الذين واجهوا قوات الاحتلال، كما خلفت الدورية الإسرائيلية خلفها آلية عسكرية قصفتها أيضاً. ومن بين الشهداء الذين سقطوا بقصف الاحتلال: "عبد الله كسحوت، اسماعيل كسحوت، قاسم حمادة، عبدو حمادة، محمد حمادة، باسل كمال، حسن عبد الرزاق السعدي، محمد دعبوس، هبة خليل أبو ظاهر، محمد عكاشة، حسام السمان". وذكر مراسل تلفزيون سوريا في المنطقة، أن العشرات من العائلات نزحت من البلدة إلى القرى المجاورة، خوفاً من تكرار القصف على بيت جن، في الوقت الذي شيع الأهالي شهداءهم ونقل الجرحى إلى أقرب المشافي المتاحة. ويؤكد سكان بيت جن لموقع تلفزيون سوريا، عدم وجود أي مقاتلين غير سوريين في المنطقة كلها، وأنهم لا يرغبون بقتال الاحتلال، مع تشديدهم أنهم لم يذهبوا إليه بل هو من جاء إليهم وهدد أمنهم واستقرارهم ولذلك حصلت المواجهة، "ليس من المعقول أن يقتحم الاحتلال قرانا وبلداتنا ويعتقل شبابنا ونبقى ساكتين". من جانبه، قال مختار بيت جن عبد الرحمن الحمراوي لوكالة الصحافة الفرنسية إن جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي توغل إلى بيت جن لاعتقال 3 شبان من أبنائها، مما أدى إلى اشتباكات مع السكان الذين حاولوا التصدي لعملية التوغل. وإثر ذلك، قصفت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عبر مسيّرات وبالمدفعية القرية، وفق مختار البلدة. قصف إسرائيلي على بيت جن ماذا يقول الاحتلال؟ بالعودة إلى رواية الاحتلال نجد أنها مزاعمها تتمحور حول عملية استهدفت "مطلوبين" يشتبه أنهم يخططون لتنفيذ هجمات داخل الأراضي المحتلة، بحسب "يديعوت أحرونوت". وذكرت الصحيفة العبرية، أن جيش الاحتلال نفذ عملية اعتقال لشبان سوريين مشتبه أنهم من "الجماعة الإسلامية اللبنانية". وما يعرف عن الجماعة الإسلامية أنه تنظيم ينشط في لبنان، وسبق لإسرائيل أن استهدفت عدداً من قادته خلال حربها الأخيرة ضد لبنان. وأعلن جيش الاحتلال إصابة 6 عسكريين إسرائيليين، بجروح تراوحت بين البالغة والمتوسطة والطفيفة، ونقلهم إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج، من دون الإشارة إلى  مقتل أي منهم، مؤكداً انتهاء العملية واعتقال جميع المشتبه بهم، والقضاء على عدد منهم، بحسب تعبيره. وتابع جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أن "المسلحين هاجموا سيارة هامر تابعة للقوات الإسرائيلية مما أدى إلى إصابة الجنود الذين كانوا فيها، وتعطلها وتركها وقصفها لاحقاً". وقالت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية إن الجيش الإسرائيلي انسحب إلى أطراف بلدة بيت جن بعد ساعتين من الاشتباكات، ونقل المصابين بالمروحيات إلى مستشفيات إسرائيل. ونقلت الصحيفة عن مسؤولين أمنين، أنهم لا يرون حالياً أي مؤشر على أي رد من قبل القوات الحكومية التابعة للرئيس أحمد الشرع، وسط تأكيدهم أن "هذا الحادث يبرز حجم الخطر الناجم عن سماح جهات معادية بالتموضع قرب إسرائيل، وأنه لا يمكن التوصل إلى اتفاق مع سوريا حالياً لأن البلاد غير مستقرة". وأضافوا - A Hero's Story from Beit Jann When I arrived in Beit Jann yesterday morning around 7:30 AM, several residents stopped me at the Beit farm and told me not to enter because drones were targeting everything that entered the town. Even the Civil Defense teams were not allowed in by the occupation forces, and ambulances were not permitted to enter for fear of being targeted. Everyone who told me not to enter told me that a young man had been killed on a motorcycle on the road. When I entered, I saw the motorcycle on the side of the road, charred. Inside Beit Jann, I asked about the owner of the motorcycle, and they told me it was the young martyr, Hussam al-Samman. He was killed while entering Beit Jann to rescue someone injured during the clashes. An Israeli drone targeted him, and he was martyred. Almost nothing remained of him except torn clothes and scattered remains. Hussam was a simple young man, not yet thirty, married with a beautiful child. He didn't complete his secondary education and worked in agriculture. Like most of the residents of Beit Jann, he was poor and came from a kind, simple, and modest family, rich in dignity, honor, and pride, and who refused to accept humiliation or insult. This family gave birth to the hero Hussam, who gave his life to rescue someone injured in an Israeli bombing. May God accept you, Hussam, and all the martyrs of Beit Jann and all the martyrs of Syria.

قصة بطل من بيت جن عند وصولي لبيت جن صباح الأمس قرابة الساعة السابعة والنصف صباحاً.. استوقفني عدد من الأهالي في مزرعة بيت وأخبروني بعدم الدخول لأن الطيران المسير يستهدف كل ما يدخل للبلدة وحتى فرق الدفاع المدني لم تسمح لها قوات الاحتلال بالدخول ولم تدخل سيارات الإسعاف خوفاً من الاستهداف كل من أخبرني بعدم الدخول أخبرني بأن شاباً استشهد على دراجة نارية على الطريق.. وعندما دخلت لمحت الدراجة على جانب الطريق متفحمة داخل بيت جن سألت عن صاحب الدراجة فأخبروني أنه الشاب الشهيد "حسام السمّان" وقد استشهد أثناء دخوله لبيت جن لإسعاف مُصاب أثناء الاشتباكات.. واستهدفته مسيرة إسرائيلية وارتقى على إثرها شهيداً لا يكاد يوجد شيء من أثره سوى ملابس ممزقة وأشلاء. حسام هو شاب بسيط لم يبلغ الثلاثين من عمره وهو متزوج وأب لطفل جميل، لم يكمل دراسته الثانوية ويعمل بالزراعة، وهو كمعظم أهالي بلدة بيت جن فقير الحال وابن عائلة طيبة بسيطة مستورة الحال، لكنها غنية الكرامة والشهامة والنخوة، عزيزة النفس لا تقبل الذل ولا الإهانة، وقد أنجبت البطل حسام الذي قدم حياته في سبيل إسعاف مُصاب بقصف الاحتلال تقبلك الله يا حسام وشهداء بيت جن وكل شهداء سوريا.

@idfofficial IDF: Overnight (Friday), following intelligence information gathered in the past several weeks, IDF troops of the 55th Reserve Brigade under the command of the 210th Division, went on an operation to apprehend suspects from the Jaama Islamiya terrorist organization. The suspects operated in the area of Beit Jinn in southern Syria and advanced terror attacks against Israeli civilians. During the activity, several armed terrorists opened fire at the troops, who responded with fire toward the terrorists, along with aerial assistance to the troops.
