Airwars assessment

On Saturday, November 4th, 2023, between three and four male children were injured by an alleged Hay’at Tahria al-Sham drone, a group linked to the Turkish military. The children were playing in a small garden near traffic signals in Bustan Al-Qasr neighborhood, in Aleppo city, Syria at the time of the strike.

Multiple sources reported on the event. Notably, Ajel news reported: “The injuries in Bustan Al-Qasr were 4. The injuries were of children playing in the garden (a small garden near the traffic signals). They were taken to Al-Razzai Hospital, and two of them were in serious condition.”

Multiple sources described the drone as being shot down and/or the fall of the drone, without tributing responsibility. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the airstrike was allegedly conducted by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.

Ajel News and Shahba Al-Iz reported four injured while SOHR news reported three children injured.
