According to Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, one child “died after he was hit with shrapnel when Coalition planes targeted Daesh trucks while they were setting up barriers on the edges of al Ballikh river near the village of Raqqa al Samra east of the city”.

Airwars assessment

A local report said that a family was killed in shelling in the Tammuz neighborhood of western Mosul.

Ninawa Media Center reported that a father, son and the son’s daughter were all killed by shelling in Tammuz. As the report noted, “My dear brother, a random bombardment of July near the Mufti Mosque claimed the death of a father, son and daughter of his son. The people of the region buried them in the garden of his house. God let you stop the indiscriminate shelling.

In their August 2020 civilian casualty report, the US-led Coalition assessed reports that they were responsible for civilian harm in this strike as “non-credible”, stating that after a review of all available records it was determined that, more likely than not, civilian casualties did not occur as a result of a Coalition action.

Between four and five civilians including one woman and three or four children died – and ten other civilians were wounded – in alleged Coalition airstrikes on Al Suweidiya, east of Ma’adan according to local media.

All sources attributed the event to the Coalition. According to Alaraby, there were two strikes: the first hitting “the wall of the ‘Alia Bint al-Mahdi’ school” and a second striking the “house of the family of Al-Razaj.”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the death of “four people from one family including a woman, her child, a citizen and his brother.” It blamed the Coalition.

Syrianpc, @SRG_Syria, @Sour_News, @Q_Alenezy put the death toll at four children and one woman, attributing the event to Coalition warplanes.

Alaraby, Radar2, Sawarim put the death toll higher at five non-combatants with 10 more wounded, reporting that the deaths occurred in the “Al Suweidiya region east of Ma’dan”.

Some sources specifically blamed “US air strikes”.

Four civilians including one child and two women died in an alleged Coalition airstrike on Al Dari’ya, according to local media.

Radio AlKul reported that four people from one family were killed in a Coalition raid.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, “a woman, her daughter and her mother were killed as a result of bombing by the international coalition’s warplanes yesterday on places in Al-Dar’eiyah area in Al-Raqqah city.”

Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reported artillery shelling on post office area, while the Shaam News Network said that Coalition strikes occurred alongside “heavy artillery and rocket fire.”

For June 7th-8th, the Coalition reported: “Near Dayr Az Zawr, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed a vehicle.”

In the same report it was mentioned "Additionally, five strikes were conducted in Syria and Iraq on June 6 that closed within the last 24 hours," one of them was "Near Dayr Az Zawr, Syria, one strike destroyed four ISIS oil tanks".
