Airwars assessment
At least one civilian was injured in alleged Russian or regime artillery shelling of the village of Bzabour on July 20, 2021.
A tweet from @allaith12345 reported “the village of Bazabour in Jabal Al-Zawiya was targeted by five shells so far, and a house was destroyed and injured a person.” A post from Syrian Civil Defense referred to a civilian as being “slightly wounded”.
The majority of sources attributed the strikes to the regime. However, @Step_Agency identified that the shelling coincided with “Russian reconnaissance aircraft over the area” and @SRoudinah2 identified the shells used as “Russian shells”.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Bzabour (بزابور), for which the generic coordinates are: 35.774919, 36.615474. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
