Airwars assessment
At least one civilian was injured in alleged Russian or regime artillery shelling of the village of Bzabour on July 20, 2021.
A tweet from @allaith12345 reported “the village of Bazabour in Jabal Al-Zawiya was targeted by five shells so far, and a house was destroyed and injured a person.” A post from Syrian Civil Defense referred to a civilian as being “slightly wounded”.
The majority of sources attributed the strikes to the regime. However, @Step_Agency identified that the shelling coincided with “Russian reconnaissance aircraft over the area” and @SRoudinah2 identified the shells used as “Russian shells”.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
