Airwars assessment

Three civilians were killed and several others injured, including women and children, in alleged Russian and/or Syrian regime airstrikes on Al Marja, according to local sources.

According to HNN Russian planes carried out several raids “leading to the death of three people and causing material damage”.

The Shaam News Network reported that “activists said the Russian air force targeted Marjah district with rockets, civilian houses were directly targeted, causing the fall of three martyrs and a number of injured. Civil defence teams worked to take them to medical hospitals.”

However, the Syrian Network for Human Rights blamed the Syrian regime. It also put the death toll at three.
