Airwars assessment

A single source, the Smart News Agency, reported that 23 civilians were killed and 109 others wounded in numerous airstrikes from both Assad’s regime and Russia across Eastern Ghouta, Damascus.

Smart News Agency used the Civil Defense as a source and reported that a spokesperson for them said: “among the dead were five children and a woman…while the majority of the wounded were women and children. They were killed by more than 54 raids by military aircraft of the regime and Russia.”

Smart reported that the Civil Defense did not mention the distribution of those killed across the towns and villages of Eastern Ghouta. However, Smart said that the areas struck were: Hazza, Douma, Harasta, Ein Tarma, Zemlaka, Hamuriya and others.
