A girl was killed in the village of Al Naqir in rural Idlib as a result of bombings by alleged Russian warplanes on May 10th 2018, local sources reported.

Idlib Media Center wrote that a child was killed “as a result of targeting with rockets by the Russian occupation aircraft in the town of Al Naquir in the southern Idlib countryside.”

Halab Today named the victim as Hala Abdel-Alim Rahmoun, a displaced girl from Latamna in northern Hama.

Step News stated that “Russian warplanes launched several air raids targeting the towns of Marza’ata and Al Naqir in the southern countryside, killing a girl from the displaced people of the town of Latamna and wounding a number of civilians at dawn today.” It is unclear if civilians were injured in Al Naqir, or in the other incident.

According to Smart News Agency, the incident occurred during the night. Smart quoted local fighters who stated that Russian airforces launched two missile attacks on the village.

Sources all blamed Russian warplanes for the raids.
