One to three civilians, including two children, were reported killed in several airstrikes on the town of Haas, Idlib, on May 24th.

While Shahd is the only named fatality in a number of sources, the Syrian Network for Human rights claimed that “Shahd Jamal al Farhat was killed along with one of her family members, Mohammad Ahmad al Farhat“, and also reported the death of the child Mahmoud Yaser al Razzouq.

Step News Agency stated that six others were also wounded in the airstrikes.

Numerous sources attributed blame to the Syrian Regime, while three sources cited Russia as the belligerent responsible for the attack.

Shaam News claimed that air raids “continued violently in the cities and towns of Idlib and Hama on Friday, leaving more martyrs and wounded, and prompting religious groups to cancel Friday prayers in mosques.”
