A 5-year-old boy was killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on Kafar Nabil, Idlib governorate, on May 25th, 2019, according to local sources. Seven civilians, including three women and three children, were injured.

Rabea al Ta’ta’, age five, was reported killed by a number of sources following airstrikes on Kafar Nabil. @abdallh37777 posted a photo of the victim’s father holding his son’s body, noting that the child “was martyred at his home this morning in Kafar Nabil due to a raid by the despotic Assad regime warplanes on their safe house.”

@M25hLAkKS2ra6WD reported seven wounded, including three women and three children. The source added that “Civil defence teams rushed to the place and worked to help the injured to nearby medical points.” Shahba Press also claimed that “others” were injured in the airstrikes.

The destruction of civilian infrastructure was well documented by Euphrates Post. The source described the “great destruction in the homes of civilians” as a result of the airstrikes.

While nearly all sources attributed blame to the Syrian regime, Russia was named as the responsible belligerent by Euphrates Post.
