A child was injured in alleged Russian and/or Syrian air- and artillery strikes on a mosque in the village of Kafar Shlaya, Idlib governorate, on December 3rd, according to local sources.

Shaam News Network reported that “Russian and Assad warplanes and helicopters launched dozens of airstrikes amid artillery and rocket shelling” on dozens of cities and villages in Idlib governorate.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “Syrian regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs near Kafr Shlaya Mosque in Kafr Shlaya village in the northern suburbs of Idlib governorate, partially damaging its building and furniture, on December 3”.

The Facebook page, Kafar Shlaya News, uploaded images following the strike that appeared to show damage to a vehicle and a residential home.

Most sources implicated the Syrian regime as being responsible for the strike.
