Local sources reported that six civilians died following alleged Russian airstrikes on Maarat al Artik, Aleppo.
Activists told Shaam News Network, “swarms of Russian aircraft did not leave the atmosphere of the city of Aleppo during the night hours. There were more than 200 air raids carried out by seven warplanes simultaneously targeting Anadan and Hraytan and the towns of Hayan and Kafr Hamra and Yaqid al Adas and Maarat al Arteek (6 martyrs) and Kafr Bisin and the Mallah The camp Hndarat and Asia north of the city”.
According Orient, Moscow struck the area with phosphorous, a chemical weapon illegal under International law.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Maarat al Arteek (معارة الارتيق), for which the generic coordinates are: 36.247681, 37.053483. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
