On June 24, Coalition military forces conducted 37 strikes consisting of 79 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

In Syria, Coalition military forces conducted 34 strikes consisting of 50 engagements against ISIS targets.

* Near Abu Kamal, three strikes destroyed 15 ISIS oil storage tanks, eight ISIS oil barrels, six ISIS oil stills, and a vehicle.

* Near Dayr Az Zawr, six strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed three ISIS-held buildings, two command and control nodes, an ISIS staging area, a mortar system, a tactical vehicle, and an ISIS oil refinery.

* Near Raqqah, 25 strikes [1 British] engaged 17 ISIS tactical units; destroyed 16 fighting positions, five vehicles, two ammo caches, a recoilless rifle, a supply cache, and an UAS launch site; and suppressed an ISIS tactical unit.

In Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted three strikes consisting of 29 engagements against ISIS targets.

* Near Mosul, three strikes [1 Australian] engaged three ISIS tactical units; destroyed 11 fighting positons, a medium machine gun, a heavy machine gun, a mortar system; damaged two fighting positions; and suppressed an ISIS tactical unit and a sniper team.

Additionally, 13 strikes were conducted in Syria and Iraq on June 22-23 that closed within the last 24 hours.

* On June 22, near Raqqah, Syria, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units; destroyed two fighting positions, two vehicles, a weapons cache, and an ISIS staging area; and damaged 14 fighting positions.

* On June 23, near Abu Kamal, Syria, one strike destroyed 29 VBIEDs and damaged a front-end loader.

* On June 23, near Raqqah, Syria, seven strikes engaged four ISIS tactical units and suppressed two ISIS tactical units.

* On June 23, near Mosul, Iraq, three strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units; destroyed three fighting positions, two medium machine guns, a sniper position, and a rocket-propelled grenade system; and suppressed four mortar teams and a sniper position.

Saturday 24 June – Typhoons eliminated a sniper team in Raqqa…In similar fashion, a pair of Paveway IV-armed Tornados eliminated a terrorist sniper team in Raqqa on Saturday 24 June.

On 24 Jun, Australian F/A-18 Hornets supported Iraqi forces during operations in Mosul. The Australian aircraft struck five Daesh fighting positions with guided munitions over several hours of support.

* Near As Hasakah, two strikes destroyed four artillery systems and two tanks.

* Near Dayr Az Zawr, one strike destroyed a front-end loader.

* Near Raqqah, 21 strikes [1 British] engaged 15 ISIS tactical units; destroyed 10 fighting positions, six vehicles, a VBIED, an ISIS staging area, a tactical vehicle, a mortar tube, and a mortar system; damaged an ISIS supply route; and suppressed an ISIS tactical unit.

In Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted three strikes consisting of 42 engagements against ISIS targets.

* Near Mosul, two strikes [1 British, 1 Australian] engaged two ISIS tactical units and two snipers; destroyed 14 fighting positons, five medium machine guns, four mortar systems, three supply caches, two rocket-propelled grenade systems, and a sniper position; and suppressed a mortar team.

* Near Rawah, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed an ISIS staging area.

* On June 21, near Raqqah, Syria, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit; destroyed four ISIS staging areas, three vehicles, three fighting positons, and a VBIED; damaged a VBIED factory; and suppressed an ISIS tactical unit.

* On June 22, near Raqqah, Syria, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed two fighting positions.

* On June 22, near Kisik, Iraq, one strike damaged six ISIS supply routes.

* On June 22, near Mosul, Iraq, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units; destroyed seven vehicles, two medium machine guns, two rocket-propelled grenade systems, an ISIS staging area, a fighting positon, and a VBIED; and suppressed two mortar teams.

On 23 Jun, Australian F/A-18 Hornets conducted a strike operation in the Middle Euphrates River Valley, Syria. The Australian aircraft struck a Daesh weapons cache with guided munitions.

On 23 Jun, Australian F/A-18 Hornets supported Iraqi forces during operations in Mosul. The Australian aircraft struck five Daesh fighting positions and a Daesh heavy weapons site with guided munitions over several hours of support.

Friday 23 June – Tornados and Typhoons hit three Daesh sniper teams in Mosul, and a truck-bomb and armoured personnel carrier in Raqqa…The next day [June 23rd], a mixed Tornado and Typhoon pair used two Paveway IVs to target successfully a large group of Daesh fighters operating with a truck-bomb and an armoured personnel carrier in Raqqa, while in Mosul a Tornado flight conducted three precision attacks with Brimstone missiles on sniper positions.

On June 22, Coalition military forces conducted 32 strikes consisting of 103 engagements against ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

In Syria, Coalition military forces conducted 28 strikes consisting of 49 engagements against ISIS targets.

* Near Abu Kamal, seven strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units and destroyed nine ISIS oil stills, four dump trucks, three cement mixers, three vehicles, three tactical vehicles, two cranes, a weapons cache, a pump jack, and a manifold.

* Near Dayr Az Zawr, one strike destroyed six ISIS oil stills.

* Near Palmyra, one strike destroyed four ISIS tunnel entrances.

* Near Raqqah, 19 strikes engaged 14 ISIS tactical units; destroyed 12 fighting positions, two vehicles, and an IED cache; and damaged an ISIS supply route.

In Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted four strikes consisting of 54 engagements against ISIS targets.

* Near Bayji, one strike engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed six tactical vehicles and four ISIS staging areas.

* Near Mosul, three strikes [1 British] engaged three ISIS tactical units and a sniper; destroyed 16 fighting positions, eight medium machine guns, three mortar systems, an artillery system, an ISIS-held building, and a rocket-propelled grenade system; damaged a fighting position; and suppressed two mortar teams and an ISIS tactical unit.

Thursday 22 June – Tornados and Typhoons engaged six terrorist positions in Mosul, including four defended by machine-gun teams…On Thursday 22 June, Tornados and Typhoons conducted attacks with Paveway IVs against six Daesh targets in western Mosul, with some strikes being called in by Iraqi forces positioned extremely close to the terrorist locations. Four machine-gun teams were amongst the threats successfully dealt with by our aircraft.
