LCNA reported: “A random shell landed Tuesday night on the house of Mohammed Salim al-Mazouji in the Wadi Al Rabie area, killing two of his sons, in addition to his granddaughter while they were inside the house.”

Other sources published similar reports.

Airwars assessment

Up to four civilians, a mother and her three children, were reported killed and other civilians injured as a result of heavy artillery in Al Zirba, Aleppo, June 10th. Local sources said the victims belong to the same family.

Syria Civil Defense stated that “a woman and her two children were killed in Al Zirba” in discussion of “a new escalation of the Syrian regime and Russian occupation over the majority of areas in the Syrian north.”

Later, local sources reported that the death toll increased to four. The victim was named as Watania Al-Hussein aged 45, and her three children named as Mays Abboud Al-Hamoud aged 8, Saleh Al-Aboud Al-Hamoud aged 3 and Rasma  Al-Aboud Al-Hamoud aged 2. It seems that Mays died later because of the wounds she sustained as a result of the shelling.

The time of the incident is not clear as some source said it happened in the afternoon while others reported it as happened in the evening.

ANF reported: “The Turkish army and allied jihadist terrorists have launched an attack on Tal Rifaat town in the Shehba Canton neighboring the occupied Afrin Canton.

The attack with howitzer and mortar fire killed a civilian by the name of Sabri Hemdo and left three other civilians, Fikret Reşîd Xorşîd, Zêneb Murad and Mehrem Bekir, injured.”

A man was reported killed when Russian and Syrian regime forces allegedly struck Al-Ankawi village in Sahl al-Ghab northwest of Ham with heavy artillery and rocket shelling.

According to Shaam News, “the rebels targeted the positions of the Assad forces at Hama military airport with Grad missiles in response to the shelling of civilians in the villages of Idlib and Hama”.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights identified the victim as Khalifa al Salima, however they said he was killed as a result of shelling in Al-Qahera village in Sahl Al-Ghab on the same day. Airwars research didn’t find any reported deaths in Al-Qahera village on that day, so possibly Khalida al Salima was killed in Al-Ankawi village.

No other details are known at this time.

One woman was allegedly killed by GNA shelling on Altwaisha in Qasr Bin Gashir.

Tarhuna 24 reported: “The death of Dhuhibs Alus – the wife of Mohammed Khalil al-Hakimi was killed by the fall of shells on their home in the area of Hakeimeh in Altwaisha.”

Hona Sog Al-Khmies published a similiar account: “The death of Dhuhibs Alus – the wife of Al Haj Mohammed Khalil Al-Hakimi was killed as a result of a shell falling on their house in Hakeimeh area.”

Tarhuna 24 posted pictures of injured people and said that the “al-Hakimi family house was damaged and the death of the mother.”

Mohammed Al Atrash and Alhadba al-Hadath published a similar report, saying that the mother died and the rest of the family was injured.

Libya Akhbar mentioned that civilians were targeted by GNA forces in Qasr Bin Gashir, according to the LNA Media Center. It did not provide number on how many victims occured.

Hona Sog Al-Khmies also reported a GNA airstrike in the same area.

A young man was killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime artillery strikes on agricultural land near Morek, in the northern Hama countryside, on May 26th, 2019, according to local sources.

Halfaya Media Center reported the death of the young man Taher Suleiman Al Ahmad, who died “as a result of being targeted by artillery shells while working on agricultural lands near Morek.”

The Violations Documentation Center of Syria wrote that Al Ahmad had been targeted by artillery shells coming from Russian forces at the Kabari Camp. The Syrian Civil Defence, however, blamed the Syrian regime for the death of a man near Morek.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee reported that Al Ahmad died in the airstrikes on the city of Ma’arat Al Numan on May 26th. All other sources, however, reported that the victim died near Morek.

A number of civilians including children and women were killed and injured in Russian forces and/or Syrian regime artillery strikes on Kafr Nubul on May 23rd, 2019, according to local sources.

In one news SMART reported that “two civilians were wounded by a rocket attack on the town of  Kafr Nubul south of Idlib from the positions of Russian forces near the city of Sakilipiya north of Hama (activists).”

At the same time, SMART reported another incident. “Syrian forces shelled missiles Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 on the city of Kafr Nubul south of the province of Idlib north of Syria, killing three civilians, including a woman and wounding seven others, including two women and two children.”

Three civilians were identified to have died in the attack; Abdul Hamid Al-Ismail, Muhammad Fayez Haj Hamido and Aisha Khalid Al-Junaid (a child). Some sources mentioned that a woman was also killed but there is no information yet.

It was reported that cluster bombs were used in the attack, and the blame was attributed to both Russia and the Syrian regime.
