The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported renewed rocket shelling by Turkish forces and the factions loyal to it on areas under the control of the Kurdish and regime forces in the northern countryside of Aleppo on April 10th, 2020.

The intense shelling targeted the villages of Aqeeba, Soghankeh, Ziyara, Dergemal, Beina and other areas located in the Shirawa district northwest of Aleppo and led to the injury of a civilian in the village of Aqiba, in addition to the killing of a member of the regime forces and the injury of others.

The incident occured in the morning.

ANF reported that a civilian was injured in the village of Kafr Naya in Aleppo, Syria in alleged Turkish shelling on April 9th, 2020. The civilian is identified as Khaled Oso, aged 42.

“The Turkish army and allied mercenaries have carried out an artillery attack on the villages of Sheikh Hilal and Kafr Naya in Shehba region at around 17:30 local time Thursday afternoon. The bombardment on Kafr Naya injured a 42-year-old civilian named Khalid Oso and caused material damage on the houses of the residents.The man has been taken to the Afrin Hospital in the Fafin district.”

Up to four civilians were allegedly killed and up to eight more injured by LNA shelling on Tajoura.

Libya Alahrar TV said six people were injured.

The Libya Observer tweeted: “A foreign worker from Ghana was killed and six others wounded in a rocket attack by warlord Khalifa Haftar’s armed groups on Ghot Alroman area in Tajoura, east Tripoli on Thursday.”

The GNA-led Burkan Al Ghadab operation said: “A Ghanaian worker was killed and 6 others were injured as a result of the bombing of the Haftar terrorist militia in Ghout Al-Rumman, Tajura, this afternoon.

The six injured from Niger and Ghana, all injured by shrapnel in different parts of the body

One worker’s leg was amputated and another hand was broken.

Two Libyans were injured in the shelling, and their car was damaged as a result of the shelling.”

The Field Medicine and Support Center provided the highest casualty toll with four killed and eight wounded.

Hona Souq Al-Khmies wrote: “Al-Khadra Hospital has been exposed to indiscriminate rockets this afternoon on the Women’s and Obstetric Operations Department.

The doctor continues operations despite the difficult circumstance, fear and terror, a victim was exposed to shrapnel wounds.”

Other sources did not report civilian harm. Libya Ambulance Services said: “Part of the evacuation operations carried out by the rescue and emergency teams of patients from Al Hadaba Al Khadra’ General Hospital, which was subjected to shelling with random shells today, where more than 30 patients were evacuated.”

One civilian was allegedly injured by LNA shelling near the Khadra Hospital in Tripoli. A woman also reportedly suffered a miscarriage because of the stress caused by the bombardment.

The Libya Observer wrote: “The attacks caused several injuries among civilians, especially the ones that targeted Al-Khadra Hospital in Al-Hadba, where many medical staffers and patients were left in utter panic and intimidation.

A nurse at the hospital, who asked not to be named, said a pregnant woman aborted due to the panic and horror she was in when the shelling hit the hospital.

The media adviser of the Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi said a foreign worker was injured in the vicinity of Al-Khadra Hospital, which was targeted by Haftar’s rockets Monday afternoon.”

Tk Yahroug Kl shy also reported the miscarriage: “All patients in the green hospital went down to the lower floors as a result of the bombing, as there is a pregnant woman who was in the department aborted and her fetus died while she is now under operations.”

The Field Medicine and Support Center said that six patients had to be evacuated because of the shelling.

The Libya Observer quoted the media adviser of the Health Ministry Ameen Al-Hashimi saying: “Three people have been injured in Haftar’s attack on Abu Salim, including one 15-year-old boy.”

Tk Yahroug Kl shy only reported shelling: “A state of fear and alienation afflicts residents of the Al-Samoud buildings in Abu Salim area, after several shells fell.”

Libya Alahrar TV said: “Hafter militias bombard residential neighborhoods in Abu Salim, causing 3 houses to collapse in Al-Harati neighborhood.

Residents of the Al-Harati neighborhood are rushing to rescue the injured, despite the panic they sustained due to the fall of shells.”

ANHA reported that Turkish forces targeted a civilian car on the road between Tal Abyad and the village of Avidko in Raqqa, Syria on April 4th, 2020 leading to the injury of a civilian. ANF later said three civilians were in the car and that they got injured.

It was reported also that Turkey-backed militants kidnapped the injured civilian and took him to an unknown destination.
