A young man was killed and up to six others were injured in alleged Russian or Syrian regime artillery strikes on the city of Ibta’a, Dara’a governorate, on June 26th, 2019, according to local sources.

Amin Abu Halwa wrote on Facebook that the young Ali Ahmad Al Mahmoud Al Hariri had been killed as the result of shelling on the town, in addition to “a number of wounded, from moderate to critical condition.” @shakmaskeen reported that six people were seriously injured.

@Step_Agency reported that “regime forces targeted the town of Ibta’a in the western countryside of Dara’a with artillery, while the warplanes launched several airstrikes targeting the town of Harak in the eastern Dara’a countryside.”

Nearly all sources blamed the Syrian regime for the artillery strikes, but Shaam News Network mentioned that both the Syrian regime and Russia had been responsible. Ahmad Al Masalmah blamed Iranian forces for the artillery strikes on Facebook.

Three male civilians, including a Syrian Civil Defence volunteer and a nurse, were killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on the city of Al Harak on June 25th 2018, according to local sources.

Smart News Agency reported that, according to a medical source, “a civilian, a nurse and a member of the Civil Defence were killed by the bombing of warplanes on the city of Al Harak.”

According to the Syrian Network for Human Rights, at least three civilians were killed in the airstrikes, for which they blamed both Russian and Syrian regime forces.

Mohammad Abu Salem reported initially that Civil Defence volunteer Ibrahim Muhammad Tarad Abu Salem died in the airstrikes, and that his younger brother Anas Muhammad Tarad Abu Salem had been critically wounded. Other sources later reported the death of Anas Muhammad Trad Abu Salem, adding that the young man was a nurse.

According to Aleppo Civil Defence, Ibrahim Abu Salem died after a rocket attack on the ambulance he was in.

Abood Al Hirak identified the third victim as Ibrahim Yunis Abu Safi, who was killed when his agricultural truck was targeted by alleged Russian airstrikes. Ayham Kaloush published a photo of a severely charred body on a vehicle.

@SyriaCivilDefe tweeted that its teams managed to put out a fire during the night in Al Harak, after a civilian car was targeted by alleged Russian air raids, stating that “the fire was controlled and its progress towards civilian homes was prevented.”

Whereas most sources blamed Russia for the airstrikes, others such as the Syrian Network for Human Rights and Shaam News Network blamed both Russia and the Syrian regime.

Three civilians, including a woman, were killed and 10 others, including women and children, were injured in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on the town of Al Soura on June 25th, 2018, according to local sources.

The LLMA wrote on Facebook that “Russian warplanes launched six airstrikes so far on the town of Al Soura in Dara’a countryside, as a result of which three civilians, including a woman, were killed and ten others, most of them children and women, were wounded, in addition to extensive destruction in civilian homes.”

Qasim Samara, the head of the local council of the town, told Smart News Agency that “a man and a woman were killed and others were wounded by bombing warplanes targeted residential neighbourhoods, schools and infrastructure in the town.”

The LLMA identified one of the victims as Hajj Muhammad Mahmoud Al Sayah Al Haraki. Abu Hussam Al Hiraki wrote on Facebook that the man’s last name was Al Shawamreh. The other victims were identified as Ahlam Abdul-Fattah Al Shawamreh and Raed Mahmoud Al Shawamreh.

Bassam Wasim Bassam wrote on Facebook that “the terrorist Raed Mahmoud Al Shawamreh” had been killed, whereas all other sources listed the man as a civilian.

Whereas most sources blamed Russia for the airstrike, the Local Coordination Committees of Syria reported the Syrian regime had been responsible.

Dara’a governorate was heavily targeted on June 25th, with Aswat News reporting additional intensive Russian raids on the towns of Eastern Maliha, Alamah, Nahhath and Basr Al Harir.
