Local sources reported that up to five civilians were killed and 15 others injured in alleged Russian raids with four rockets on Da’el in Dara’a on June 28th, 2018.

SMART reported that “Four civilians, including two women, were killed and others wounded as a result of raids by Russian planes on residential neighborhoods in the city of Da’el , according to the media officer of the Police Centre in the city. ”

However names of victims shared by Abu Ghadab in a Facebook post show that one woman was killed. The names Ahmed Salem Al-Masry aged 27, Maryam Qasim Al-Shehadat aged 50, Hudhaifa Faisal Awir aged 22 and Qasem Ali Qanbar aged 25.

@maher_jamous tweeted “Russian occupation warplanes targeting the town of Da’el in the countryside of Daraa, with two strikes a short time ago, and preliminary reports that martyrs and many wounded were among the civilians.”

Russian forces were accused to be responsible for this incident.

Shaam News Network reported that Russian forces conducted heavy air raids accompanied with heavy shelling and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Ma’arat Al Nu’man, Khan Sheikhoun, Tallakan, Kanda, Hamediyah, Deir Snabal, Jabala, Bassamis, Sahihan, Hayish, Najeej and Ma’ar Zeita. The source claimed that one civilian was killed in “all of Ma’arat Al Numan, Khan Shaykhun and Jabala”, but did not specify where the civilian was killed. Others were injured “in other areas”.

Dozens of civilians were injured in airstrikes and shelling by rockets on Douma, local media reported. Sources attributed the blame to both Russia and the Syrian regime.

According to Yaqeen News, “Russia and Assad renewed raids on the cities and towns of Eastern Ghouta on Tuesday [March 13th]…warplanes launched air raids on cities and towns, including Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Saqba and Hamouriyeh, while artillery targeted the town of Kafarbetna, causing dozens of casualties, mostly civilians.”

Similarly, the Shaam News network reported that “dozens were injured in Harasta, Douma, Jisreen,Hamouriya , Zamalka, Arbeen, Hazza, and al-Rayhan”.

Local sources informed ANF that the wounded are from the village of Merga Reşê in Şeyh Zade valley and are being treated at Soran hospital.”
