One child – a six-year-old girl – died and up to six more civilians including another child and two women were wounded in an alleged Russian or regime airstrike on Kafr Karmin on the night of April 11th-12th, according to local media.

Qasioun reported: “A girl was killed and others were wounded early today [April 12th], when Russian warplanes bombed the village of Kafr Kermin in the western countryside of Aleppo. The air raids also caused extensive destruction of public property.”

Most sources attributed the civilian harm to Russia, though the Syrian Network for Human Rights didn’t distinguish between Moscow or Assad as the actors.

According to SN4HR,  “the girl Amal Na’naa, age 6, from Hraitan governorate northern suburbs, was killed when Syrian-Russian alliance warplanes missiles fired on Kafr Karmin village in Aleppo governorate western suburbs on April 11, 2017.”

Between two and six civilians including a child died and up to eight more were wounded in an alleged Russia airstrike on the road between Bdama and Hambushiyah in the countryside of Idlib, according to local media.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, “a child and a man were killed and eight others were injured including four children under the age of 18, due to raids carried out by warplanes on areas in al-Hambushiyyeh village, which is located in the western countryside Jisr al-Shughur at the administrative border with the northeastern countryside of Latakia. T death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.”

The Step News agency reported that  “the number of dead has risen to six people following the Russian raids targeting the Bdama – al Hamboushiya road, western Idlib.”

According to the Step News Agency, “Russian planes launched a phosphorous raid targeting Bezeit in Jisr al Shoughour killing one person and injuring others.”

Other sources also reported the use of internationally-banned phosphorous  and napalm in this attack.

One named civilian was wounded in an alleged Russian airstrike on Idlib city, according to a single source.

According to the Smart News Agency, “the destruction was caused by Russian air strikes on the perimeter of the Cariton building in the city of Idlib on 11 April 2017, which resulted in the injury of a number of civilians. Abu Mohammed [possibly the injured civilian as his name matches the name given further down in the report of the wounded victim], a resident of the neighborhood said that the warplanes launched the first raid, and ten minutes after that a second raid, pointing out that the raids were targeting civilians and ambulances, in addition to the rescue teams. Another person, Abu Hassan, said that there is no military headquarters in the region, noting that the air raids are repeated daily on the city.

Khaled_1987dn tweeted that there had been an air raid but said that “no injuries” had been reported so far.

The Smart News Agency reported: “The media official of the civil defence in the Jisr Al-Shughour district, Duraid Haj Hammoud, told the Smart’s correspondent that the raid targeted the village of Tal Dahab, wounding a civil defence member and civilians. Activists said this was likely to have been a Russian bombing.”

Step News Agency reported that two members of the civil defence were wounded, and also pointed to Russia.

One of those killed was a woman and another was reportedly a member of ISIS, although it is not clear whether or not this person was a combatant. 

Two civilians were reported wounded and sought medical treatment in Taybeh.
