One child was killed and as many as 15 other civilians were wounded in alleged Russian airstrikes on a clinic in Al Toub, according to sources on the ground.

All sources either named Russian warplanes as a belligerent or ddin’t identify the culprit.

@EuphratesPost claimed that 15 or more were wounded, whereas Smart News reported only “others were wounded”.

There are no other details at this time.

The incident occured during the night.

As many as four civilians were killed – allegedly from the same family – and some were wounded in an air and artillery strike, which one source described as a “barbaric bomb attack”, on Al Shia’ar, Aleppo.

Sources are conflicted as to who was to blame. Some blame Russian warplanes for the airstrikes, while others such as SN4HR blamed the Syrian regime. Many sources however reported sightings of helicopters which allegedly dropped explosive barrel bombs on the vicinity. One source reported that both air and artillery strikes struck Al Shia’ar, Aleppo.

Video evidence shows much material damage to residential homes, with fires being put out.

More footage published by Qabon Event, shows a mother weeping over the body of her husband and child who were killed in the alleged raid.

Two girls were killed and dozens of other civilians were wounded in shelling and airstrikes which struck the residential neighbourhood of Douma, local media said.

According to Smart News, some members of the regimes forces were also killed in the airstrikes. 

Sources were conflicted as to who was to blame for the alleged raid, with two sources blaming the Syrian regime, two sources blaming Russia and the rest not naming a belligerent.

Upsetting footage shows a young girl who is seriously wounded being transported to hospital in an ambulance. Other photographs show more wounded children being treated in a medical facility.

Between four and nine civilians – including one woman – were killed, and as many as 24 were wounded when barrel bombs were reportedly dropped on a six story building in Sukkari neighbourhood, Aleppo.

Sources were conflicted regarding who was to blame. Some sources attributed the blame to Syrian regime “helicopters”, while others blamed Russian warplanes for the alleged airstrikes.

Reports have suggested that the material destruction to the civilian housing was devastating, with photographic evidence to support the claim.

Additionally, as many as two families were trapped under the rubble with dozens reported wounded.

Aleppo24 and Ara News claimed that as many as five explosive barrel bombs were used. However, LCCSY reported that Russian missiles caused the damage.

The incident occured around midday.

As many as five civilians were reportedly killed – including up to three children – in alleged artillery and airstrikes “from the surrounding mountains” which struck Harasta. Both women and children were reportedly among the “dozens wounded” in the raid.

Some sources such as LCCSY have blamed Russian warplanes the for alleged bombing, however other sources  blamed the Syrian regime. Sada4press reported that the shelling came from “armed groups”, thereby not specifying a particular belligerent.

According to Breakingnews, there were as many as 25 rockets launched in the vicinity. Other sources, however, reported that thermobaric missiles were also used in the raid. 

Sources were conflicted as to the number of civilians killed in the incident. AljasemCom posted an image of a young boy who was allegedly killed in the raid. 

Mohamad.alshaar.harasta named one victim.

LCCSY named two different names as did the Syrian Network for Human Rights. Additionally, another source reported that there were four casualties from the event which is the highest toll reported.

Four civilians were killed – including one child – and several others injured in airstrikes which struck a market place in Abu Al Zuhur – though sources were conflicted as to who was responsible, with some reports blaming Russian warplanes and others blaming the Syrian regime for the raid.

Sdu Syria reported that rocket propelled grenades were used in the bombing of the market place. According to other sources not only shops but civilian homes were destroyed.

Despite multiple sources reporting on the death of Abdo Walid al-Aboud – aged 12 – Aboualzaor reported that he was wounded whilst also documenting an unidentified death. They also reported that three other civilians were wounded including one child and two women. 

Zaitonmag reported there were “several civilian casualties” in this specific incident, as did @hamade_12, who documented the deaths of four.

On 6 January 2017, Russia, however, reported: “Since November 8, 2016, the aircraft carrier group of the Northern Fleet consisting of the heavy aircraft carrying cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov, the heavy nuclear missile cruiser Pyotr Velikiy, the large ASW ship Severomorsk, as well as auxiliary vessels of the Black Sea Fleet, has been fulfilling counterterrorist missions on the territory of Syria”, adding that ”in the course of two months of their participation in the combat actions, naval aviation pilots have carried out 420 combat sorties, 117 of them were night ones.
