Up to three civilians were reported killed in airstrikes on Jisr Al Shoughour, Idlib, after midnight on July 18th. A further five to seven, including two children, were allegedly injured in the attack.

Ayman Qaddour (or Ameen Qaddour) and child Abdul-Jawad Ramo were killed in the attack. Abdul-Jawad died days later of his wounds. Few sources said that Ayman’s daughter was killed alongside him, while others said she was injured.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed that the airstrikes “killed one person and injured at least seven others, including children.”

IdlibPlus tweeted that “five civilians were injured, including two children, in Jisr al-Shoughour, as a result of eight Russian airstrikes on the city after midnight”.

Syria Civil Defense reported that “a civilian was killed and five others were injured by airstrikes on the town of Jisr al-Shoughour, targeting residential neighborhoods and a women’s center for civil defense […] damaging some of the equipment and medical supplies inside the center.”

Jisr Media Center named Ayman Qadour as a fatality after he succumbed from his wounds.

According to Etilaf News, “three warplanes belonging to the Assad regime and Russia targeted the city with eight air raids, with one hitting the women’s point of civil defense in the city. The Civil Defense […] helped the wounded and extinguished the fires. In addition, they helped evacuate the civilians from the bombardments until dawn. The body of a martyr and a number of wounded were recovered.”

Fifteen sources attributed the attack to Russian Forces, two sources named both Russian forces and the Syrian regime in reporting the incident, and one source did not positively attribute blame. A further source attributed the attack to the Syrian regime.
